I have amazing news for all you Vaseline fans out there. The ultimate beauty classic, the leader of all things soothing and healing, has brought out a brand new addition to their iconic product. YAY!
The Vaseline Lip Therapy range is at last available in handy sized sticks and is now formulated with a special combination of waxes and caring oils.
It is comes in four moisturising variants - Original, Aloe, Rosy and Cocoa Butter. Something for everyone. Even the boys.
And I say this safe in the knowledge that it really isn't just the girlies that value the comfort and appearance of their lips. My seven year old son is a lip balm addict and I won't mention my boyfriend for fear of damaging his macho image. OK, he'll never read this, he loves lip balm too.

I attended a launch event for these little beauties and it was a really lovely evening. We had wine (yay) and super yummy nibbles which included mini shepherd pies and mini choccy meringues (even bigger yay!).
We each had a chance to chat to the Vaseline Research and Development expert chap to find out more about the products. Bless him. He was the only man in the room at one point, but coped very very well!
And then we were given the opportunity to win a Lulu Guinness lips clutch. Are you liking the luscious lips theme?
I was so excited because this particular bag has been on my wish list for some time (I have even blogged about it) and all we had to do was guess the owners of some celebrity lips that were posted around the room!
All the right answers (mine included, with a little help from my lovely new Vaseline friends) were put into a bag and the draw was made....
And then..... I didn't win. It's OK because I never win.

Back to the Vaseline Lip Therapy Sticks, I have had a try and they are absolutely lovely. More matte than the traditional Vaseline formula but just as moisturising and soothing, so perfect for everyday use.
Today I will be wearing the Rosy Lips instead of my regular gloss. Excellent!
