Full of fabulous people, wearing fabulous shoes and having fabulous fun, this was definitely a party not to be missed. I have to say, Harrods really do know how to throw a bash.
There was yummy food, even yummier cocktails and a host of very interesting people. The beautiful cupcakes, made in a variety of shoes designs, were the result of a collaboration between master patissier Eric Lanlard and shoe god Patrick Cox. Delicious and stylish. What more could you ask for?
Both gents were milling around the party, as were a host of other well known names including Harold Tillman, chairman of the British Fashion Council, George Lamb, Sophie Ellis Bextor (who told me she liked my dress, by the way!!), Pixie Geldof and Rosamund Pike.
There were fun and games too with a Shoe Hoopla and Hook the Shoe competitions. Obviously I didn't win, but I gave it a good go!!
I also had the chance to catch up with lovely blogger and twitter friends, and also meet some new ones too. Lovely!
The Shoe Salon is stunning and has everything any shoe lover could need. I was practically dying with excitement!
In case you're wondering, I wore my Christian Louboutin Deva 120 suede ankle boots and a dress from Reiss.
Choose from Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Brian Attwood, Givenchy, Lanvin, Chloe, Charlotte Olympia, Miu Miu, Christian Louboutin, Rupert Sanderson.... the list is endless. Hence the excitement!!
Happy shoe shopping
