Well I have to say I was incredibly lucky to get into this show. Not only did I not actually have a ticket, but not all the people with standing tickets were let in. I have two lovely angels from The Times to thank for this one.

I was queueing and they approached me and kindly gave me their spare ticket. As lovers of fashion, they thought it would be dreadful if the ticket had gone to waste. I wan't sure what to do because I was queueing with some lovely friends, but they encouraged me to go and off I went!

This is the first time I have written about London Fashion Week since it was actually happening, and looking back now, it all seems like a bit of a dream.
It was actually a dream come true for me. I completely loved it and it really was liked living in an alternate universe for a few short crazy days. Amazing.

But back to Mark Fast. It was a fabulous show and this designer really does know how to give knitwear that sexy edge.
This season Mark Fast has done something knew and added it an extremely glamorous dose of leather.

The theme was 'A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing' and I could see where he was going with this. The collection started off extremely softly in the natural whites and blacks of the Merino wool with occasional pops of red and orange.

The harder lines were injected with the use of leather with hoods that toughened up the look of the softer wool pieces.

The knits themselves were incredibly architectural with built up shoulders and hemlines all combining to create real dramatic effect.

Mark Fast didn't miss out on one of the hottest colours at London Fashion Week - RED. I adore the classic combination of black and white with pops of red, and this was a very edgy take on it.

And I was happy to see there was more red. On the soles of every pair of shoes. Mark Fast used Christian Louboutin to add the right amount of glamour and sexiness to his collection. Perfect.

There were lots of celebrities at this show I hear. I saw Jo wood and Janice Dickinson but I have to say that I am not that good at star gazing. I am going to need to improve if I want to keep up this lark!
