I love sending flowers, especially to my mum. It feels really decadent and special yet is generally so simple to organise particularly if you find a good service.
My mummy loves flowers. She spends every chance she can in the garden, and when she comes to my house, she’s outside trying to rescue me from an ensuing jungle! But I suppose, like food you haven’t cooked, she really loves receiving flowers she hasn’t grown herself.
I usually send flowers for my mum’s birthday, and when I do, I receive a torrent of picture messages showing me the ways she has arranged them and how many of her vases she has filled. It’s very interactive and super satisfying!!
What I really need to do is send her a bouquet when it isn’t her birthday, or any occasion at all, just a lovely surprise to show her how much I love her, and get her busy with the vases!!
Serenata is a brilliant site because it provides loads of guidance to help you make you’re choice. You can pick from summer flowers, exclusive flowers, entertainingly described as “floristocracy of the flower world and the supermodels of the petal promenade” and many other options. There are handy suggestions to suit the kind of person you are buying for.
Major bonus is that delivery is free, even for next day, as long as you order by 7pm. Fabbie!
Serenata have kindly given me a bouquet worth £30 (plus p&p if applicable) for one of the lovely ReallyRee readers to win.
All you have to do is be a follower of this blog (via Google Friend Connect), and leave a comment on this post telling me who you would most like to receive flowers from. Simples! You just need to remember that this giveaway is only open to residents of the UK.
