I thought I would tell you about this makeup look mainly because I decided not to go for any foundation yesterday for a real fresh, clean look. I still made sure I had a good base but I just attacked it from a different angle.

I primed my skin with Murad's Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer -Dewy Finish (£27). Murad's Hybrids are skincare and makeup in one, and this one works to control oil and minimise pores whilst light enhancing mineral give the skin an even and glowy appearance. It's really lovely.
But I still need a bit of help in other areas - under the eyes and around the nose. So I used the Nars concealer in Custard (£17.50) which is one of my faves. As my skin is fairly dry at the moment I mixed it with another Murad Hybrid product, the Eye Lift Perfector (£25) to lighten it up. I love this product too! It actually firms and depuffs the skin and reduces circles whilst also covering imperfections. It mixes really well with other products if you are looking for a heavier coverage too.

I did some contouring using the amazing Daniel Sandler Watercolour Creme Bronzer (£17.50) and I popped the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Creme Rouge in Soft Pink (£15.50) on the apples of my cheeks.
I lightly powdered everywhere (apart from my cheeks to keep the glow) with the world's best powder - the Daniel Sandler Invisible Blotting Powder (£19).

I have to admit, I am fairly obsessed with Daniel Sandler products so I also used the Eye Delight (£10.25) in peach which I applied with my finer over my lids and then I used the darkest shade from Estee Lauder's Pure Colour Surreal Skies Eye Palette (£35) to line.
I then used Look Beauty's Stretch Factor Mascara in Brown/Black which I was really very impressed with. It lengthens brilliantly which I think you can probably see best in the full shots (and even better in person!).

I also went for Look Beauty for the lips. This is the lipstick from the Double Hit Lip (£7) in Citrus Kick. Love it! Nice and moisturising too.
And that's it!! What do you think of the no foundation look?
