Another Teaser from J'Adore Dior!
Here's another little insight into Christian Dior's latest campaign for J'Adore starring Charlize Theron. The full film, which will launch on 4th September 2011, was shot by renowned French film director Jean-Jacque Annaud to celebrate the new version of the J'Adore Eau de toilette.

There is a great music app called Shazam that allows you to identify almost any song you hear. Shazam will listen to the song for a few seconds then tell you the song title and artist. Once you've got the song title sorted make sure you know all the words with Lyrics, an app that instantly searches for the lyrics to any song.
And talking of our rubbish weather, be on standby for any good days with Weatherbug which offers the latest weather information including current conditions, extended forecast and live weather camera images!
And because I am constantly lost, The Where’s my car app is a fave. It allows you to simply set your cars location by clicking on the car icon, then when you’re heading back the app will map out a walking route to your car, complete with the distance from your current location! What more could you ask for??!

Tom Ford Beauty
I got to look at, and play with, Tom Ford's amazing new makeup range this evening. It is absolutely luscious! A stunning range with the most amazing colours, textures and finishes. I was swooning! Check out my piccies...

Tell me you are not seduced!! Each quad (of which there are ten) contains four shades in different finishes - sheer sparkle, satin, shimmer and matte - so each quad can deliver a range of looks. Fabbie!
The blushes were particularly impressive too. They had an amazing, unique texture. They are a powder formula yet feel amazingly creamy, velvety and moisturising. The colour blends beautifully and moves easily on the skin.
The packaging is beautiful - real old school glamour that looks and feels super expensive. I'd be proud to pull one of these babies out of my bag.
And talking of expensive, the range is just that. The foundations are £60, the quads are £62 and the lipsticks are £35, just to give you an idea. But you know what...? I would pay it! They really would make the ultimate treat for any makeup lover.
The range previews in Harrods, Selfridges London, Harvey Nichols London and Brown Thomas Dublin from 3rd September 2011, and then hits all Tom Ford Private Blend counters nationwide from 3rd October 2011.
The launch includes two gorgeous new fragrances, Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge and Tom Ford Santal Blush. Both are super seductive and aim to capture the spirit of the beauty collection. The Jasmine Rouge is created to complement decadent colour on eyes, lips and cheeks, while the Santal Blush is for the natural, neutral tones of vanilla, cognac and bronze. Check them out. I loved them.

Brows. The Importance of Being Shaped!
In terms of all the simple things you can do to look your best, it's all about the brows as far as I'm concerned.
Throughout my university years, I was oblivious to the power of the brow, and I skipped though life all bushy in blissful ignorance. Not so blissful now when I look back at the pics and see the unruly mess that topped my eyes!
So I have been looking after them better for a few years now, first plucking, then waxing and for the most recent years, threading.
I have to say, I am a huge fan of threading. In case you don't know what it is, although I'm sure you do, threading is a traditional hair removal technique using cotton thread. Rows of hair are pulled out at a time and it is quick and super effective. The therapist doesn't use any products or chemicals so it's good for anyone with sensitivities. It can hurt a little but I don't find it too uncomfortable and sometimes it hurts more than other times!
I recently had it done at Browhaus for the first time and basically it was my best threading experience so far! Very exciting. This was threading with a twist as the therapist also did a colour tweak which was absolutely brilliant. This treatment is call 'Browography'. My eyebrows looked amazing. The actually threading itself was excellent and they have stayed looking good for longer than ever - about three weeks before I had to intervene to pull the odd hair with my tweezers.
Here is the before and after story...

As you can see, the colour change is very subtle but it acts almost like makeup to perfect the shape and really define the brows. Love them.
On top of it all, the service at Browhaus was fabulous. Lovely, lovely girl who was incredibly gentle and I hardly felt a thing. I would definitely recommend the Browgraphy which costs £20. Excellent value for money.

Loved the luxe grunge knits, short suits, palazzo flare jumpsuits, maxi split skirts, vintage inspired pussy bow blouses and the faux fur. Can't wait!
The best news is that we will still be getting amazing value for money with nothing costing more than £40 from the regular collections, and £80 from the capsule collections (think the faux fur jackets).

And that's my little assistant in the background, eating grapes. This was shortly before he stuffed an entire plate of cakes into a napkin just as we were leaving! Not embarrassing at all!! Bless him...
My fave pieces were the burgundy maxi bandeau dress and the feather trim cream dress. Some fab sparkly clutches too.
