ImPRESS Press On Nails

I found this little bottle of ImPRESS press-on nails in the goody bag from a recent blogger event called Bloggers Boutique.

Even though I was actually able to make the event, Shore, who was one of the organisers, kindly lugged a whole bag of treats up to London for me. What a cutie!
Anyway, I thought these ImPRESS press-ons from Broadway Nails looked really fun so I wanted to have a go straight away.

Now I haven’t tried stick on nails since I was at school, which is really too along ago to mention!
Needless to say, I never really had brilliant experiences with the ‘pre-historic’ versions, and often found lonely, detached nails in places nails should never be! Basically their lack of staying power amounted to a bit of a ping-fest!
They also used to be fairly fiddly, with tabs you had to snap off and file down, and lots of runny glue to try and control. Being slightly on the heavy handed side, all kinds of beauty disasters ensued.
Fortunately, it’s a completely different story with these ImPRESS nails. They are pre-glued, so all you have to do is select your sizes, pull off the plastic and get sticking!

I applied them on Saturday morning, and they are still going strong today (the following Wednesday) and showing no signs of going anywhere at all. I have been washing my hair, the dishes and even did a bit of kitchen bleaching yesterday (GLAM!).
I am SERIOUSLY ImPRESSED (sorry). I kind of feel that the pattern is more likely to wear off than the actual nails are to ping!
Apparently, it’s really easy to remove them. You just peel from the side, and can use a bit of remover if they are stubborn. I am not ready to take mine off yet so can’t comment on that right now.
If you are looking for a perfect looking, and long lasting mani, you cannot go wrong with these!
Prices start at £7.99 and you can pick them up from Boots. Nicole Scherzinger is an ambassador and you can catch her on the Boradway Nails ImPress site here.

When did you last try stick on nails?

I love the look of these and have tried out the range but think I just hate the feel of fake nails on, especially if they’re longer than I’m used to!

    Very pretty though!

I’m not a massive fan of stick-on nails but these look really natural and pretty. I’ve seen the adverts with Nicole, how much do you think they paid her to endorse these?!! xx

Tried these last week and they stayed on despite showering and washing my hair each day – not any washing up though as I was away. Had them on from Saturday – Friday, when I finally took them off. Tried glue-on ones earlier in the year and found myself having to re-glue at least one or two each day!! Didn’t even notice that I had false nails on as they feel much more natural than acrylics. Definitely recommend them.
