Morning all! So sorry for my silence over the last couple of days but I actually decided to take the bank holidays off! Shocker! This is what I have been up to...
I have been visiting my Mum and Dad who live in Beccles in Suffolk. It was my Mum's birthday on Sunday (she is enjoying referring to it as her Jubiliee Birthday) and my sister, her husband and her eldest daughter came over for the day and we all had a jolly good time. I decided not to be the one hiding behind my laptop for a change and I have to say, it was really rather refreshing!
It hasn't come without a large dose of guilt thrown in, however, so I am getting back to blogging quick smart!
Not too much has changed apart from the fact that as always after a trip to my parents I wish that we lived closer together and also I am fostering a rather new, and growing, soft spot for the Queen! What a cutie!!
It is pretty amazing that she's been on the throne for 60 years, but as an incredibly non-political being, I can't really comment much beyond that. What I do know is that my heart melts when she smiles, and that is enough for me!
I hope everyone else enjoyed the break. I know that some of you have booked off the rest of the week off work (well planned if you did!) but if you didn't, and you feeling a little blue, just remember it isn't long until the weekend!
Right! I am off now to think of something to blog about. I must admit I am feeling a little lost after having completely switch off from it probably for the first time. I am sure it will all come flooding back soon! FINGERS CROSSED!
