Last night I popped along to London's W Hotel for the premiere screening of a short silent movie starring Caggie Dunlop from the TV show Made In Chelsea.

It was a tongue in cheek affair, and the movie is all about Impulse's fragrance, Loving Words, and it's power to remove the need for speech (hence a silent movie), because it does all the talking for you.

And I have to say it really is a lovely fragrance! It was created by none other than Ann Gottlieb who has worked with Dior and Calvin Klein. It has top notes of fresh fruits pear, apricot and mango, with floral undertones of violet and peony - it is really delish! 

If you think that Impluse isn't your thing then I challenge you to smell it because you may just be surprised! It is on offer for 98p at Superdrug right now.

I had the opportunity to interview Caggie too which was fab. Here is what I found out!

RR: Describe your style...

CG: Big baggy jeans, slouchy boots, t-shirts,with a very specific taste specific taste in jewellery including gold, silver and turquoise. I like to mix it up and I'm not set on a particular style. It often depends on the music I am listening to, so if I listen to hip hop, that has as impact on how I dress!

RR: What is your fave high street brand?

CG: I really like the high street, particularly Zara. Also Urban Outfitters really matches my style.

RR: What are your designer loves?

CG: I love  Mary Katrantzou and her amazing prints. Prints and fashion bring it so close to art, and it is either  revolutionary or plagiarism, and she is revoluntionary! I also love Zadig and Voltaire, mainly because I like Erin Wasson who is the face of the brand. She is amazing.

RR: Which 3 beauty products cannot you not live without?

CG: Loving Words from Impulse, (RR: Obvz!!), Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream and Hula from Benefit.

RR: What is your top tip for great hair at home?

CG: After I have washed my hair, I towel dry it and then apply some Moroccan Oil. I brush it once while it's wet but don't brush it again, and rough dry with the hair dryer. I use salt spray to give it a really beachy look. I am too clumsy to use styling tools and usually end up burning my face!

RR: You always have a good tan. Do you ever fake it?

CG: I have been in Sicily recently, but if I am ever feeling pasty and pale, I go for a spray tan with James Read - he is amazing!

RR: So how did you get involved with making this film for Impulse?

CG: Well I love acting and also worn impulse since about 12, although I did stop using it for a while. I loved the idea of turning the lynx advert on its head and reversing the male and female roles.

And then we ran out of time but Caggie was utterly delightful, very easy to chat with and beautiful to boot!
