I have been trying out Clinique's brand new Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup and I am really loving it. I didn't think there was room for another love affair with a foundation in my life but clearly there is!

This foundation, like Clinique's Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector, delivers instant results and also long term benefits, but this time, we are talking pores!
The Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup uses optics to instantly disguise the appearance of pores and also contains a high-powered pores resurfacing complex that works on the skin over time.

I am obsessed with my enlarged pores and I definitely feel that this instantly makes them vanish. It leaves a gorgeous, slightly matte, really flawless finish with just the right about of glow too. It does this with "sophisticated spherical optical diffusers and soft focus materials capture and diffuse light to immediately soften and blur the appearance of large pores". Yay!!
The idea that the foundation is refining them at the same time is like music to my ears! This is how it works over time:
- Padina Pavonica Extract and Salvia Sclarea work together to build up the pore surface to help pores appear smaller.
- Salicylic Acid gently clears out dead and dulling skin cells that build up around the edges of pores, keeping pores clear so they don’t stretch out and appear larger than they really are.
- Laminaria Saccharina Extract minimises sebum production that may cause pores to stretch.
If teamed with the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum, the new Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup promises that pores will look about half the size in 2 weeks.
The bad news is, it isn't out until 5th October 2012 but I think it is quite reasonably priced at £23 for 30mls.

I did a bit of experimenting on the lashes. The Dior Show New Look Mascara is absolutely amazing for lengthening but to give my lashes even more of a boost I brush on a little of the fibres from my Model Co Brush On Lash Extensions Kit (see link above). I then covered them with another coat of the Dior mascara and..... MAJOR LASHES!!
