This week I was invited to attend the official press launch of Styled to Rock, the brand new fashion series produced by Rihanna and sponsored by Diet Coke. The launch was held at super hot venue, The Box where we'd meet the show's mentor's Nicola Roberts, Henry Holland and Lysa Cooper.

Hi everyone, Becky here. I was super excited when Ree asked me to attend the launch of Styled To Rock for her whilst she is away on her hols.
I’ve seen the adverts for the exciting new program on Sky Living so I couldn’t wait to find out more from the show’s judges, Nicola Roberts, Henry Holland and Rihanna’s stylist Lysa Cooper.

In the stylish surroundings of The Box club in London, Sky Living’s team and the stars of the show filled us in on what to expect from Styled To Rock.

The show, which hits our screens on the 14th of August 2012, will see 12 unknown designers selected by Rihanna set weekly challenges to make outfits for a range of A-List celebs including Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, The Saturdays and Rihanna herself.

The outfits will be for A-list music artists to wear for a variety of occasions, including stage, shoots, high-profile events and more. The designers will have the chance to work with a new celeb each week in a bid to find the next ‘Fashion Sensation’. it’s all about celebrating talent and creativity in the British fashion scene, and searching for the next generation of raw, undiscovered fashion designers, fusing music and fashion together.

Henry Holland said “The most exciting thing for us as judges on the show was seeing the progress that the designers made; they had 3 days from being given a brief to delivering an outfit which then had to be critiqued by the celebrity who they were designing for”.
It really feels like this is a show about finding real design talent and that all of the judges and Rihanna who is executive producer are really passionate about it.
I’m sure it’s going to become everyone’s new fashion fix! I know I’ll be watching, will you?
