Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim Effect Contour Face Palette Review

Loving the new products from Daniel Sandler! Particularly the Sculpt & Slim Effect Contour Face Palette. It’s fab and I have been having lots of fun with it…

It is a brilliant compact with a mirror that contains a dark matte shade for contouring and a light shade for highlighting. Everything you need to get cheekbones to die for. I am a bit obsessed with contouring at the moment because I am desperate for more definition!
So keep reading for how it looks on and how I applied it. It’s a fun job!

But before I get on to the application and results, I just have to mention Daniel Sandler’s lovely new packaging. Absolutely loving the black and gold.

So here are a few shots of my attempt at contouring with the Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim Effect Contour Face Palette. Please excuse the dressing gown…not so glam!

Now I was lucky enough to get to chat to fabulous makeup artist Amanda Bell at the Pixi Beauty event and she gave me an excellent crash course in how to contour the face.
She sent me these pictures to help when she found out I was trying out Daniel Sandler’s Contour Palette. This is some of her contouring work…before blending:

Incredible isn’t it? So this is my attempt – don’t laugh…I am not an expert. OK you are allowed to laugh! This is what it looked like before I blended to get the result I showed you above.

I just took a smallish flat eyeshadow brush and tried to copy Amanda’s lines, then blended everything out with the Daniel Sandler small angled powder brush.

I was quite pleased with my first attempt although I am sure the pros out there will spot all the school girl errors. Thanks so much for the coaching Amanda – so generous with your time and knowledge.
I absolutely love the Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim Effect Contour Face Palette. It is so easy to work with as the powder is so fine and blendable. I just popped some of the highlighter on the cheek and brows bones and I suddenly felt much more defined! Yay!
The Daniel Sandler Sculpt & Slim Effect Contour Face Palette is available now on www.danielsandler.com and costs £24.50.
