I have finally gotten around to trying out budget makeup brand MUA's answer to the Ciate Caviar Manicure. This is the MUA Nail Constellation:

Isn't it pretty?! Now in terms of a comparison to Ciate (which is £18), I have heard quite a few people saying that these are really a one night wonder (and not really complaining for £3) but I have found that if you use a good topcoat (I used Andrea Fulerton Gloss Up and quite a lot of it), you can really get a lot more out of it.
I applied this last Friday and it stayed on until I took it off last night. Not bad hey? Here's another shot:

I decided just to go for one accent nail because I was unsure about the staying power, but now that I know how to make it last, I'll go for a full set next time.
All you do is paint your nails as normal (I used Bourjous 1 Seconde Gris Nightomic which is brand new) then apply the beads while they are still wet. Finish with a good layer of a good topcoat.

Very impressed indeed! You can pick up MUA Nail Constellation at Superdrug in a variety of colours for £3 each.
