I popped along to check out the new summer 2012 cosmetics collections from Accessorize last night and spotted some absolutely gorgeous things!

I think my faves are these fabbie 32 shade eye palettes that contain a combination of matte and shimmer  highly-pigmented shadows and cover off pretty much any eye look you could go for. They cost £8.95 each.

The Urban Decay Naked Palette is probably one of the most talked about neutral eye palettes ever. It is everyone's everyday perfect palette. Only problem is, it costs £36. The good news is (and that is a little bit of an understatement) MUA Cosmetics have created the Undressed Palette priced at just £4 that is the most amazing  dupe for Urban Decay's Naked!

BB Creme: Dior Hyrdalife Face of the Day

I was so excited to try the new BB creme from Dior. I love the idea of BB creams (Blemish Balm, skin-perfecting all-in-one makeup) and I am already a massive Dior makeup fan, so I was expecting to be impressed. It also contains SPF 30 which I believe is essential, so it ticks that box straight away.

How gorgeous does this look? Well this Jo Malone's latest addition to its network of stores, on King Street in Covent Garden, London.

It is Jo Malone's largest freestanding boutique in the UK and the first example of the brand's new look. It's a beaut isn't?

Well it is open now so you can check it out for yourself.

I am completely in love with Jo Malone's new fragrance, Velvet Rose and Oud. I shall tell you about that very soon!

YSL La Laque Couture No 31 Khaki Arty

I have always been mad for khaki nails, so when I met this new addition to YSL's La Laque Couture nail polish range I was very excited. Meet No 31 Khaki Arty.

 

 

This isn't particularly the best shot of it but it certainly is gorgeous in real life. This really rich, earthy colour creates a super chic finish. These are grown up nails with a twist.

Khaki Arty is part of YSL's Autumn Winter 12/13 look and is out on 1st August 2012. Check out my sneak peek of the new makeup here.

Oh my goodness, I am completely in love with this Illamasqua lipstick, shade Eurydice, from the Spring Summer 12 Human Fundamentalism collection at ASOS.

It is super vibrant, really long lasting and perfectly matte without being too drying. I have fairly dry lips anyway and still got on very well with this formula.

Literally everyone I saw yesterday asked me what shade I was wearing! It costs £15.50 at ASOS.

When she addressed the big crowd at her London Launch of True Reflection, Kim Kardashian's latest fragrance, she told us how she would love to launch a fragrance every time she comes to London.

It was about this time last year that I went to launch of Kim's first fragrance launch at the Dorchester hotel, that time entitled Kim Kardashian.

She looked super cute, with straightened hair in a centre parting and a lace dress in black and red. Still looking too good to be true!

The new fragrance is rather nice on first impressions. Very neutral and wearable with lovely soft plum and peach notes and Italian bergamot which is a personal fave. The floral mid notes include gardenia (a Kim Kardashian signature) chocolate orchid and lotus flower, with base notes of woods, patchouli and musk.

I think she is probably on to a winner with this scent.

Kim said "I wanted this fragrance to be a little more rich and layered, to reflect the experiences I've been through" and she has definitely been through quite a lot since her last fragrance launch! But I think it's fair to say that she actually seemed a whole lot happier this time - very relaxed, smiley and chatty!

FashionistA Double Take Long Wear Lipstick in Red Carpet

I don't often wear a red lip and if I do it is usually MAC's Russian Red. But now I have  a super bargain alternative.

This is FashionistA's Double Take Long Wear Lipstick  in Red Carpet which costs just £7. I love the colour (a gorgeous true red that makes my teeth look really white), it feels nice and moisturising, and it lasts all day. It smells of vanilla which I like and actually reminds me of my MAC lipsticks in that way.

The main difference is that I find the FashionistA one more moisturising and longer lasting, which for half the price of a MAC lipstick is pretty impressive. The only down side is that it is quite hard to get off which stands in its favour for the long wear claim!

There are seven shades in the range (I am also a fan of natural pink) and you can pick them up in larger Superdrug stores.

Beach Cafe Summer Shopping

When I went on my recent spa trip I had a slight anxiety attack (!) beforehand about stripping down by the pool. So I did some bikini panic buying to minimise the risk of looking awful! This is the little number I picked from Beach Cafe.

It's a gorgeous bikini from luxury swimwear designer OndadeMar which is currently on sale reduced from £136 to £99. It is fairly pricey for a bikini but you can totally see and feel the difference in quality. It was uber flattering. This is probably the first and last time you will see me in so few clothes! Although as I have no head and legs, I don't suppose it really matters!
