NEOM Scent with Love Body Care Gift Set

I love British organic brand, NEOM and so I was thrilled to see they have come up with some beautiful gift sets for Christmas this year.

NEOM Scent with Love Body Care Gift Set

NEOM has been a serious hit within the beauty blogging community because it offers a beautiful range of truly organic treatment products without any compromise on the luxury factor. It really does tick all the boxes. It is all about mood enhancing fragrance with essential oils and beautifully nourishing products. I have NEOM products pretty much in every room.

The NEOM Scent with Love Body Care Gift Set is a wonderful introduction to the brand's amazing skin care range. Here's a closer look:

Timothy Dunn Arabian Fig Candle

I am quite new to candles. For a long time, I couldn't bear the idea of spending so much money on something that you literally just burn away, but I have done a complete U-turn on this way of thinking over the last couple of  years. I have seen the light - the candle light!!! Oh stop.

There is no better way to set the scene for a bit of luxurious relaxation than lighting a good quality, fragranced candle, and this new discovery from Timothy Dunn is certainly no exception. Here is the Arabian Fig Limited Edition Christmas candle.

The fragrance is absolutely amazing. I am big on fig - totally love it and I have to say this is one of the nicest figgy blends I have come across. If the idea of a Christmas candle doesn't do it for you, do not fear!!

Elemis at QVC - the Winter Skincare Secrets Collection

Last night Elemis held a lovely event at QVC HQ to introduce the Winter Skincare Secrets Collection. Sadly I couldn't go but luckily my lovely friend Charlotte stepped in for me - so this is a guest post from her (thanks Charlotte!!):

Elemis at QVC - the Winter Skincare Secrets Collection

It's always super exciting to hear about a brand new product, and when it's exclusive it feels that little bit more special! At the Elemis event at the QVC studios last night, we were given a detailed look at the new Evening Blooms Dry Body Oil, launching exclusively on QVC on the 2nd December.

Elemis Supreme Glow Skincare Essentials Kit

Right! Here is another absolute winner for your Christmas shopping!! Check out the Elemis Supreme Glow Skincare Essentials Kit. I completely love this.

I am a major fan of Elemis skincare, particularly for the basics like cleansing and toning and this kit contains two of my favourite varieties in full size, the Elemis Rehydrating Rose Petal Cleanser and the Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner. They are absolutely gorgeous - they make cleansing and toning at home just like a really spa experience.

Another favourite of mine is the Maximum Moisture Day Cream - you also get this included in full size. All three products are perfect for dry or sensitive winter skin as they are soothing, hydrating and promote real radiance in the skin.

Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater 60 Second Fix for Hands

Here's another super cute Christmas pressie idea, this time from Crabtree & Evelyn - this is the Rosewater 60 Second Fix for Hands. And if you are not Christmas shopping but just want to take years off your hands in a minute, then this is for you. It is an amazing kit! Seriously!

Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater 60 Second Fix for Hands

It contains two great Crabtree  products - the Hand Recovery that exfoliates and moisturises in one step, which is then followed by the Hand Therapy to lock in moisture. It is the perfect hand treat because this little duo works serious magic!!

Let me tell you a bit more about how the kit works and show you the products.

Gary Cockerill Beauty Pro Lashes

Yesterday I popped along to the Soho Hotel to chat to Gary Cockerill about his new range of Pro Lashes which are spearheading his entry into professional beauty products market.

Gary Cockerill Beauty Pro Lashes

I wasn't really sure what to expect as I am familiar with him most for his work with Katie Price, who is famous for her almost iconic fake makeup look. But there is a lot more to Gary's professional CV than that. What I got was a very calming, mild mannered and down to earth gentlemen with 20 years experience in the industry. He is very excited and passionate about his new brand, Gary Cockerill Beauty. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and so I am delighted to let you know that the lashes are absolutely amazing.

Pixi Beauty Early Bird Palette

I absolutely love this palette! I can't believe how much you get for just £16. The formulas are so soft and blendable that it really is amazing quality.

Here's a closer look at the eyeshadows:

Johnson's Skin Perfecting Oil

I absolutely love the Skin Perfecting Body Oil from Johnson's.

Johnson's Skin Perfecting Oil

It is actually intended to improve the appearance of stretch marks and has clinical trials to support this. After a 4 week study with twice daily use, improvements were seen in skin moisturisation and softness, and colour and visibility of stretch marks. That is fairly impressive.

Elnett Styling Sprays for Cheryl Cole Hair: Volume & Wave

I just got back from an event with L'Oreal Paris and the lovely Lisa Laudat, personal hairstylist and makeup artist to queen of hair, Cheryl Cole. It was so exciting!  Lisa created two signature Cheryl looks. The one I am going to show you in this post is this gorgeous, showstopping volume and waves style. Love it!

Cheryl Cole Hair with Elnett Styling Sprays: Volume & Wave

Now this is absolutely enormous hair but it is totally gorgeous and I completely want it. I think this could be my New Year's Eve hair!!

Obviously, I haven't had a chance to try it myself yet, and Lisa Laudat says it takes her 2 hours to do Cheryl's hair like this, but I took a few photos from the session just to give you an idea of how it's done. Take a look!

YSL Holiday Look 2012 Makeover

I popped along to YSL in Selfridges last week to get the YSL Holiday Look. I fell in love! Hardly surprising as YSL is my absolute number makeup brand of all time!

Wow!!! Blue eyes!! I absolutely adore it!! And although it made quite an impact it still felt perfect for day time.

This was created using the YSL Boréal Palette Arctic Night - Pure Chromatics Collectors Edition. It is this little stunner:

Nails Inc Concrete Polish Review - London Wall

Nails Inc are coming out with such exciting nail innovations at the moment and my latest crush is this edgy, rugged looking Concrete finish.

Nails Inc Concrete Polish Review

The bottle's lid has a concrete finish too so that you have some idea of what you are getting yourself into. And I have to say, I am totally smitten!

I adore the Leather and Skulls - so much so that I couldn't bear to part with that on my ring finger. You can read all about that here. And there is something equally exciting about the concrete - and I love this nude shade, named London Wall. Here's another look:

Mark Wright Fragrance Launch - Mr & Mrs Wright

The word  on the street is that the new fragrance  from The Only Way is Essex star, Mark Wright, is already outselling David Beckham online five to one! Who knew?!

Last night I went along to thelaunch feeling rather cynical about it and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The advertising campaign is very Gucci meets Hugo Boss and is beautifully shot by Joel Anderson, so straight away it has a fairly expensive feel. Say hello to Mr Wright and Mrs Wright.

Mark Wright Fragrance - Mr & Mrs Wright

When I spoke to Mark he told me that he wanted to do something really different to the normal celebrity fragrance approach.

Elemis Evening Blooms Dry Body Oil

Elemis are set to launch a brand new product on QVC on 1st December at midnight and it is an absolute winner. Check out the Elemis Evening Blooms Dry Body Oil.

Elemis Evening Blooms Dry Body Oil

You have to smell this to truly appreciate how gorgeous it is but I can tell you it contains a heavenly blend of jasmine, asmanthus, ylang ylang and vanilla in a light macadamia and kukui oil base. It is perfection.

Here's a look at the actual oil:

Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss - Glee

I have found a gorgeous lip gloss that is set to be a new obsession! This is Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Glee. LOVE!!!!

Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss - Glee

It looks beautiful, feels beautiful and smells beautiful. Glee is such a wonderful, subtle shade (much more neutral than it looks in the tube) that would suit pretty much everyone I think. Here is the full face shot:

Nails Inc Leather Effect Nails with Skulls Embellishments

Oh my goodness! I am so excited about these nails sets from Nails Inc - Bling It On Leather and Skulls.  This is leather effect nail polish that applies glossy then dries down to a matte texture very similar to a leather finish. I love the effect.

Nails Inc Leather Effect Nails with Skulls Embellishments

The sets, which come in black, tan and dark red, each come with 3 beautiful crystal embellished golden skulls that bring the GLAM into grunge big time. I am one million percent SOLD!

Here are some more pics!

BassBuds for Christmas

Check out Bassbuds:

Being a bit of a girly girl (I can't help it!) I chose pink, but there is a whole range of colours to make everybody happy.

And check out the Swarovski crystals. They are like earrings but better!!

Cleaning Makeup Brushes

I am a bit hit and miss when it comes to washing my makeup brushes. I have done the baby shampoo thing, but not always found it strong enough to tackle the makeup and impurities. I have also used washing up liquid which does clean them but I haven't felt 'at one' with the idea that  I use the same stuff to clean my precious makeup brushes that I do to clean my dishes! Feels wrong!

I know that alcohol is really effective for killing bacteria, but probably way too harsh to care for the brushes gently and ensure they last as long as they should. Oh the dilemmas!

Then this product - Australian Bodycare Skin Wash - was given to me followed by email that totally inspired me!

Australian Bodycare Skin Wash

This is what it said:

Jo Malone Christmas Cracker

I have already featured the full Christmas 2012 range from Jo Malone here but since I got my hands on one of the gorgeous Christmas Crackers, I thought it deserved a post all of its own!

Jo Malone Christmas Cracker
I am so in love with the Jo Malone Christmas 2012 ribbon. The black and silver looks super luxe. And here's a look at what Jo Malone products are inside the cracker:

Next Beauty Autumn Winter 2012

Recently Next hosted a blogger event to showcase the new beauty collections. I am not really a Next girl fashion wise, but have always been impressed with their home offereing and was keen to see what Beauty would bring. Sadly I couldn't make it but I was rather pleased when this little lot turned up.

Next Beauty Autumn Winter 2012

I really like the simple, chic packaging and straight away they look like they'd make great Christmas gifts.

Juice Detox Diet: Purifyne Beautifyne Juice Cleanse

Yay! I did another juice detox diet with delivery detox company Purifyne and absolutely loved it....again! I did a 7 day plan round about this time last year and have never regretted it - it was excellent! Read all about that here.

Juice Detox Diet: Purifyne Beautifyne Juice Cleanse

This time I did a slightly different cleanse all about enhancing beauty - it was the 5 day Beautifyne Cleanse. "Derived from leafy vegetables, our 100% Organic chlorophyll-packed Green Juices are essential to achieve beautiful complexion and healthy immunity."

The Purifyne plans are so easy. Everything you need arrives at your door in 3 separate deliveries so that everything is super fresh and the supplies don't  totally take over the fridge all at once.

Windows 8 Autumn Winter 2012-2013 Collection

PCs, laptops and tablets have been closely associated with the fashion industry for a while now, particularly as the power of social media grows and we learn nearly 100% of industry news online rather than in print.

Microsoft is totally behind the premise of the PC as a fashion item and regularly release brand new collections to ensure that we need not sacrifice looks over performance, and we can have high specification equipment that looks and feels great.

I think the Windows 8 collection is particularly stylishly impressive. The star of the selection in my eyes is the Surface with Windows RT.

Surface with Windows RT

It is pretty amazing! This is a tablet that is good looking and powerful at the same time. The Surface’s integrated Kickstand and revolutionary Touch Cover let you work, play, and connect in a super stylish way. It is available in three versions: a 32GB version priced at £399, a 32GB version bundled with a black Touch
Cover priced at £479, and a 64GB version bundled with a black Touch Cover priced at £559. You can find stockists at

Next up is the Sony Vaio Duo 11.

Vivo Colour Block Palette - Unprotected

I just have to share this gorgeous bargain-busting neutrals palette with you. This is the Unprotected Vivo Colour Block pallette:

Vivo Colour Block Palette - Unprotected

Isn't it gorgeous?! There are matte and shimmer shades, all fabulously pigmented and  perfect for creating a soft day time look and also for increasing the intensity for a stronger, night time smoky eye. I really think there is something here for everyone and for £3.99, it is the makeup bargain of the century!!

Vivo makeup is available at selected Tesco stores and

Sleep Rollers Review

I really like these Sleep In Rollers. I have been using them in place of traditional velcro rollers because they are so light and comfortable, really easy to put in and I've found they are secured with a little pinch rather than having to use clips! Perfect!

Sleep Rollers Review

I haven't reviewed them yet because I hadn't actually managed to test them out whilst sleeping, which is kind of the point!

You see, I am the most ridiculous insomniac (far too much going on in my head!) and I have to say that I believe that no matter how comfortable these rollers are, having big pink squishy things attached to my head is the last thing I need in my quest for ever-elusive sleep!

But I decided to give it a go in the name of beauty! Before bed I popped in all 20 rollers - really easy to do -and then prayed for a coma-like sleep to get me through the night.

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Stay-On Shadow Paints Collection

Whilst I was at the Estee Lauder Christmas event, I got to have a sneak peak at the brand new eye colours that will be launching in January 2013. Say hello to the Estee Lauder Pure Color Stay-On Shadow Paints Collection. I think I love them!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Stay-On Shadow Paints Collection

These are seriously gorgeous eye colours that are super soft and creamy and can be worn as a wash of colour or as a real statement eye with increased intensity. They also promise 12 hours of wear which is very exciting!! There are 9 shades in total - here's a shot which I think includes them all. Sorry, the quality isn't the best:

Estee Lauder Christmas 2012

Yesterday I showed you the fabulous new nail collection from Estee Lauder - the new Pure Colour Nail Lacquer Red Hautes Collection. As I sit here my fingers are typing away with Pure Red looking rather gorgeous. Check out the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Nail Lacquer Red Hautes Collection here.

There are lots of other gorgeous goodies in the Estee Lauder Christmas 2012 collection but first let me just show you their beautiful Christmas tree. It's my first one of the season. Yay!!

Estee Lauder Christmas 2012
Check out the waiter! I think he could be the ghost of Christmas past! But on to the products!!

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Nail Lacquer Red Hautes Collection

There's a beautiful new collection of reds from Estee Lauder, the new Pure Colour Nail Lacquer Red Hautes, created especially for Christmas 2012. They are rich, glamorous and super sexy. This one is Pure Red (21):

Estee Lauder Nail Lacquer Pure Red

I absolutely love it. There's nothing like a good red nail and I think Pure Red screams class and style!

Superdry Makeup Collection

I popped into the Superdry Spring Summer 2013 press day this week and had a rather pleasant surprise. Superdry doesn't really match my style, in general, but I have to say there were quite a few little pieces that I would definitely wear. Even more of a surprise was makeup which I have to say is really quite exciting!

Love these big blushers. This shade is Burnt Coral.

The eyeliners are like big fat marker pens:

Hydraluron Review

Well! I think it's about time I shared my thoughts on this little product, Hydraluron.

I had a first little go at Hydraluron back in August this year having read quite a lot of positive reviews, but dropped it rather quickly due to being thoroughly under-whelmed.

However, the rave reviews continued so about 3 weeks ago I decided to give it another go. This time with more determination. I have used it every night and every morning since and although it has taken me some time to come to a conclusion, the actual conclusion is, I completely need it!

Max Factor Glossfinity - Desert Sand

Oh my goodness! I'm afraid it's love again with the new nail polish range from high street fave Max Factor - Glossfinity. This is Desert Sand.

The Glossfinity range is, in general, a one coat wonder but as this is a sheer (and perfect!) shade I opted for 2 coats to get the full beauty of the colour.

In my eyes, this is the perfect nude. It is soft, flattering and looks so expensive. I think I could definitely pass this off as a Dior or Chanel number. Easily!

The Glossfinity formula is absolutely brilliant. I road-tested a dark red (Burgundy Crush) - one coat, one week, no top coat and was thoroughly impressed with its performance. Check that out here.

Max Factor Glossfinity will be available from December 2012, £5.99.

H2O Plus Skincare at Marks & Spencer

As part of Marks & Spencer's new beauty initiative Your Beauty, the global leader in marine science skincare, H2O Plus, has arrived in the UK. Hurrah!

H2O Plus Skincare at Marks & Spencer

H2O Plus is an Marks & Spencer exclusive product and both companies are really excited about this collaboration. H2O Plus was founded 22 years ago in Chicago and was the first brand ever to work with marine derived ingredients. Their credentials are pretty amazing. They are a leading skincare brand in both America and Asia.

Youngblood Foundation Challenge & In the Mood for Nude

Foundation for me is all about a gorgeous, dewy and glowy finish. I want good coverage but luminosity is equally important. The last thing I want is deathly matte. In the past, I have felt that you can only get that dewy finish with liquid foundations and certainly not with mineral powder foundations.

To try and dispel that view, I was invited along to take the Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics Foundation Challenge and have my makeup done by brilliant makeup artist Kenneth Soh. How could I refuse?

And here is the finished result!

Youngblood Foundation Challenge

As you can see, it is incredibly dewy and glowy whilst giving a lovely even and smooth coverage. I was absolutely thrilled. The products are gorgeous and Kenneth is a wonder!  And guess what?! You can take the Youngblood challenge too.

Charles Worthington Intense Rescue Melting Balm - Salon at Home

If you are looking for a super luxurious treat for dry, damaged, heat styled or coloured hair, then the Charles Worthington Intense Rescue Melting Balm is it!!! Really!!

Charles Worthington Intense Rescue Melting Balm

This is part of a new luxury range from Charles Worthington called Salon at Home which promises to bring you salon quality treatments straight to the comfort of your own home.

I have used the Intense Rescue Melting Balm three times now and it is absolutely wonderful with a  blend of 7 exotic oils and butters plus lipids and proteins, similar to those naturally found in healthy hairIt is a very solid balm that you scoop out, rub between your palms to melt it and then apply the beautiful oily, milky goodness to the lengths of your hair. Here's a closer look:

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum - Face of the Day

I have seen the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum used by Cassie Lomas all over London Fashion Week but never used it myself. This foundation is all about the dewy, glowy finish and it claims to boost radiance for up to 16 hours. It is this kind of foundation that gets me excited.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

And the verdict is, I absolutely love this it! It covers imperfections really well, adds a gorgeous healthy glow and feels weightless on the skin. It isn't too shiny thanks to its semi-matte finish - but don't be scared of the word matte, it has plenty of luminosity. Big thumbs up!

Here is a closer look:

Sunday, 11 November 2012

Ok. Here we go! The above highly 'eloquent' quote was taken from a recent anonymous comment on a blog post where I was showing off my new Fairisle headband.

Now that I have stopped giggling about it, (and I have to admit it did make me laugh because the person that wrote it is so clearly shouty and angry with me) I thought I would use it as an opportunity to discuss an age issue which exists around this funny ol' thing we call blogging.

This isn't the first time that Anon has shown his/her distaste at my persistence in updating ReallyRee. On several occasions she has urged me to 'leave blogging to the youngsters and get the hell off the internet' and I have ignored her bitter words and blogged on.

I believe that the more we age, the more information we need on skincare, makeup and clothing, not less. As I have aged, I've had to work harder and harder on my appearance and this is the information that I share. Many things are a lot easier when you're younger - you don't have to worry whether heavy eye makeup adds years to you, if more foundation emphasises the lines and wrinkles, if a particular anti-ageing cream does what it says on the tin and whether you can pull off a fashion trend modelled by lithe, young beauties on the catwalk. And we are all getting older, that's guaranteed!

The ageing process presents a whole host of beauty and fashion questions that I  am dealing with for the first time, and I find lots of help from blogs that tackle these issues and, in turn, I offer out my take on them.

Don't get me wrong, there are lots of worries to be dealt with in your teens and twenties and luckily there are a plenty of blogs out there that address those issues. Incidentally, I love those blogs as well and find things in them as relevant to me now as I would have done years ago. I read them all the time.

Let's not forget, most of the topics we blog about have absolutely nothing to do with age at all! Nothing. For me, it's about gorgeous beauty or fashion that I love. I genuinely believe that blogging is something that absolutely anyone with interests can do. Anyone. Because:

  • You don't have to look a certain way
  • You don't have to be a computer whizz
  • You don't need loads of expensive equipment
  • You don't particularly need a good grasp of written language and grammar
  • You don't even really need readers

You just need the desire to share your ideas and images on things you care about, and the ability to communicate them, however and whenever you like. Although blogging can be about what you look like, it is very much about your thoughts and feelings too - the inside counts as much as the outside. Surely we can never get too old to have an opinion?

And there is room for everyone, however young or old - the internet is a very big place. Obviously, in these times when we are starting to see people finally being financially rewarded for all their hard work, and in some cases actually making a proper living out of it (something I am lucky enough to be able to say right now), it is starting to get more competitive. Luckily there are a lot of brands out there, and we represent a whole range of different customer profiles that present endless possibilities for collaborative work - so we can put the daggers away.

If we want blogging to be our jobs, then we must expect a level of competition, just like any other industry and any other profession. There are no free rides here - if you want to maintain your position, it involves hard work and lots of it. It is not about age but desire, energy and ambition.

I think I'll stop blogging when I no longer have the energy or desire to put the level of commitment into blogging on ReallyRee - when a new lipstick, nail polish or lotion doesn't quite excite me like it used to or I can't be bothered to take photos with foundation on only one side of my face! That's when. It won't be because I am too old or because someone has told me I am too old. It will be because I want to stop. Simple.

So to you Anon, I say, no-one is too old, or too young to blog. It isn't possible because it belongs to us and we make the rules. Your problem is that you actually love me and just don't know how to tell me. It's OK. I understand.

And so, people of the internet, what do you think? Does age, or someone else's opinion about your age, discourage you from doing anything you want to do?

Stella & Dot Earrings

Look at these gorgeous earrings I was sent by Stella & Dot stylist, Alex Bridger. They are so cute.

Stella & Dot Rio Chandelier Earrings

I love these gold plated danglies. They have lots going on - lots of tiny little vintage style coins in antique gold with a little labradorite drop. So cute and still quite subtle even with all that detail - they are really light too. They come in the prettiest packaging so would make a fabulous gift. Have a look:

Elisha Francis Bracelet Love!

Look look! I have a brand new bracelet from London based jewellery designer Elisha Francis, and I completely love it!!

Elisha Francis Bracelet

I have never had a white bracelet before so this is really exciting. It is actually made from white howlite which is a semi-precious stone known for its calming properties. I can use a bit of that!!

YSL Vintage Collection: Glossy Stains

The YSL Glossy Stains are up there among my top lip products ever so I was really excited about the introduction of 6 news shades for the YSL Vintage Collection. The shades include Orange Fusion, Prune Minimale, Fuchsia Cubiste, Fuchsia Intemporel, Fuchsia Neo-Classic and Violine Surrealiste.

Here is YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Orange Fusion No 21:

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Orange Fusion No 21

Orange Fusion 21 is a beautiful colour - really rich and a true orange in my opinion where many oranges lean towards red.

Latest in Beauty Advent Calendar in partnership with YOU Magazine

OK this is a dream advent calendar for all you beauty obsessives out there. Have a little peak at the just launched Christmas Beauty Advent Calendar from 'try before you buy' beauty website, Latest in Beauty. This a special offering  to celebrate their year-ling partnership with YOU Magazine.

Latest in Beauty Advent Calendar in partnership with YOU Magazine

This is no ordinary advent calendar by a long shot. I have seen quite a few beauty advent calendars kicking around but I think this one is really rather impressive.

They are on sale for £59.95 but actually contain over £210 worth of a wide range of beauty products from some rather swoon-worthy brands including ESPA, Philosophy, Eve Lom, St Tropez, Dermalogica, Trilogy and much more.

There are 10,000 limited-edition calendars each with 24 windows of beauty goodness behind! The beauty addict in me want to rip open every door and try it all, but the Christmas kid has decided to wait and open them one by one, as intended throughout December. I shall try to instagram them each day (user name reallyree).

Buy it at - hurry though because when they're gone, they're gone!

Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara Review with Before and After Photos

I gave you a quick peak at the brand new mascara from Max Factor, Clump Defy by False Lash Effect yesterday - so here is the full post as promised.

Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara

This mascara is all about building and building volume without clumping. It has a special anti- clumps brush that is curved to the shape of the eye and has one side for loading product and one side for combing. Take a look.

Burberry Complete Eye Palette

Burberry have launched the most fabulous eye palettes that are absolutely perfect for makeup on the go. Check out the Burberry Complete Eye Palette.

Burberry Complete Eye Palette - Plum 06

There are six different colour selections - this one is Plum Pink Number 06. I love it. The reason it is a complete palette is that it comes in a gorgeous pouch with that compartment that contains three nifty brushes. Here's a pic. Sorry they are still in their plastic as I took these shots before I got stuck in! Keep reading to see the eye look I created.

Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara - First Look

I attended a fabulous Max Factor event last night that celebrated the brand's rich history right back from when Mister Max Factor was helping create Hollywood stars.

I shall tell you more about that soon but first here is a quick look at the brand new mascara from Max Factor, Clump Defy. I tried to clump it! CLICK HERE FOR FULL REVIEW.

Max Factor Clump Defy

It is lovely to apply and has a fab curved brush that lengthens, separates and coats each lash individually.

Remember, I put a lot on to try to make it clump. It really is excellent!

More news on that tomorrow!

Diptyque Sapin Dore Mini Candle for Christmas (Oriental Spruce)

Get ready to feel happy and excited about Christmas because you won't have any choice once you have smelt this candle!

Diptyque Sapin Dore Mini Candle for Christmas (Oriental Spruce)

It is the freshest, lightest, most uplifting pine fragrance I have ever smelt. Absolutely gorgeous and it doesn't even have to be lit to get the benefit. I carried this home in my bag and every time I opened it I got a beautiful waft of brightness. So good!

It includes Iranian galbanum, Eucalyptus camphor, Siberian pine, Moroccan absinthe, cedar, patchouli and Canadian fir balsam. It is vibrant and lively but still warm and comforting.

It's one of my favourite Christmas candles ever!

You can get the Diptyque Sapin Dore Mini Candle for £25 and the full size is £45.

I found it quite hard to decide which one to try first to I let my boyfriend pick. I thought it was an interesting choice for a boy!
