Ah it's another Outfit of the Day! I think you'll be able to gather by the flurry of this kind of post and distinct lack of product reviews, that I have mainly been dressing up and doing my hair and makeup this festive season!

Well I am definitely enjoying this Christmas! Here is what I wore on Boxing Day for a family party.

It was quite a casual affair so I decided to go for this fab new stretchy dress and this comfy cosy boucle jacket from River Island. I picked them up during my Christmas preparations!

Hello!! I'm back! I haven't blogged since Chrsitmas Eve, which has been a conscious effort, but I have started to get a few withdrawal symptoms (boredom, guilt), so I thought I'd show you what I wore for  our Christmas Eve festivities. This year my family and I stayed in a hotel for 2 nights for Christmas, so this is what I wore for dinner and drinks.

I picked up this top in the sales just before Chrtistmas at NW3 at Hobbs for £75 (reduced from £89). It is quite expensive but the quality is amazing and I completely love it. Plus, I had a gift card from the Hobbs press day so there was nothing stopping me! Here's a closer look:

Well I thought it was about time to get a little bit soppy!! I just wanted to wish all my lovely readers and friends a very Happy Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful time and really take the opportunity to have a proper rest and enjoy life.

We all work so hard these days and never really stop to just take in where we are and what we have achieved. This year, I have decided to really let my hair down, not worry about anything and just enjoy my family. If I fancy blogging I will, but if I don't I won't!! There shall be no guilt! Yay! I hope that you can all have the same attitude too.

Before I retire to Christmas-land, I just wanted to tell you how much all your support means to me. Without your clicks and comments and friendship, ReallyRee wouldn't be the immense source of enjoyment and fulfilment that it is for me, so thank you all so much for that. I know it seems like a real cliche but the whole thing would be nothing without you - really it would. Oh no! I am feeling a tear!!

I really love the Glossfinity formula. So shiny, so long lasting and so easy to apply. It is ticking all the boxes for me! Both shades come up slightly deeper in real life.

I know these colours aren't too Christmassy, but I have a stack of reds lined up for the next few days, so I thought I'd go for something a bit different right now.

Today I tried the Bourjois Rouge Edition Brun Boheme 05 - it took me quite a while to choose which one to try next from the full collection, but finally I was seduced by the gorgeous dusky pinky browniness of number  05!

Very pretty I think - really soft and subtle but strong enough not to wash you out like some shades that fall into the nude bracket can.

OK I am seriously impressed with this special edition box from Glossybox. I really love ESPA products. I have the Skin Radiance mask on as I type, the Energsing Shower Gel in my bathroom and I am still weeping over using the last few drops of my fave eye makeup remover, Bio-Active Eye Cleanser. But it's OK - I have the voucher now! Yay!

Erm...I am not entirely sure about this shade and finish combination, but my lovely little lad invested quite a lot of time and energy in the selection process, so I am totally going with it. And it is going to make me smile all day!

They may not be a match made in heaven but hey, it's still good opportunity to show you these two polishes.

I have got a bit of a thing for white nail polish and this one from Essie, Blanc, is a very good one. It is perfectly opaque in 2 coats and is very easy to work with.

The Mavala polishes are amongst my absolute faves - I actually think they are seriously underated. Copper Gold is from the AW12 Arabesque collection which I have featured HERE. They all apply really well in just one coat.

A few people have liked this combo on instagram but I am inclined to think they are maybe just being polite! What do you think?!

I have finally gotten around to trying out budget makeup brand MUA's answer to the Ciate Caviar Manicure. This is the MUA Nail Constellation:

Isn't it pretty?! Now in terms of a comparison to Ciate (which is £18), I have heard quite a few people saying that these are really a one night wonder (and not really complaining for £3) but I have found that if you  use a good topcoat (I used Andrea Fulerton Gloss Up and quite a lot of it), you can really get a lot more out of it. 

I applied this last Friday and it stayed on until I took it off last night. Not bad hey? Here's another shot:

I have discovered a new brand and a wonderful new candle. This is the Osprey London Dark Amber Candle - the perfect home addition to get you feeling festive. It looks beautiful too.

It comes in a gorgeously heavy, frosted glass candle holder, and I love the classic branding in a lovely soft grey. Very classy.

Before I move on the fragrance (which is heavenly FYI) I should tell you that the outer packaging is also beautiful in a equally simple and understated way, making the candle a wonderful gift. Have a look:

Yay!! These are the perfect nails for Christmas!! Look at the lovely Elegant Touch Glitter Nails in Red. Super gorgeous, pristine and sparkly!!!

Don't they look fab? And what is even better is that they are ridiculously easy to apply (stick on the adhesive tab and then the nail) and also you get all the wonder of glitter with none of the associated pain.

I am a big glitter fan but even a die hard like me is sometimes deterred by the absolute nightmare (no matter what tricks you know) of removing it. With these, you just use a little polish remover or oil and gently peel off.

They stay on for about a week, and the last time I wore stick on nails, my own nails grew really well underneath. Don't get them wet for 30 minutes after application.

You get 24 nails in 10 sizes and the super adhesive tabs are included. The Elegant Touch Glitter Nails are £7.10 at Boots and Superdrug.

BaByliss Volume Waves Review

One of my favourite styling tools at the moment is the BaByliss Volume Waves. It is so easy to use and is amazing for creating gorgeous bouncy waves.

The barrel is lovely and wide (38mm) to give a good definined wave as opposed to a curl and the ceramic coating really helps to add a brilliant shine to the hair.

Also, I find that the spoon (or lever) makes it so easy to control the hair and you don't need to worry about using a heat protection glove because the hair is held for you.

I've just received information about these gorgeous new watches from Swatch and I had to show you.

I think if you are looking for a classic style gold watch but don't want tread the same path with all the Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs crew (no offence, I am one of them), then I think one of these beauties will be perfect!

There are a range of metallic overlays in pink gold and yellow gold - each with stunning black watch faces and some with black links. In four of the six watches there sparkling crystals too. Love!
