John Frieda at The Apartment for London Fashion Week

So I think just about everyone that knows me realises I have been at London Fashion Week. Sorry for the social media overkill but it is SO exciting! This has been my best season yet. I didn't put too much pressure on myself to get to everything, I mooched backstage without feeling too awkward (cos let's face it, EVERYONE is in the way backstage) and I got some excellent seats front of house.

And in the background all the time, and very often in the foreground, was the wonderful creation that is The Apartment. It was London Fashion Week paradise. There was somewhere to rest my weary body, but more importantly there was hair, makeup, clothes and shoes...and much, much more!

I managed to pop into the John Frieda salon 3 times, so I thought I'd share the different styles I got with you.

I am going to start with my absolute favourite one because everybody loved this! Andreas Wild from the John Frieda Mayfair salon created this 'fashiony' braided look - I have decided to call it The Mutated Plait!

Literally everyone complimented me on this look and felt quite at home backstage at Somerset House. I'll definitely be giving this a go myself.

Later in the day (yes the same day!!) I decided that I wanted to go for a mini fringe, so Andreas did the honours:

Oooh look! Andreas snuck into this pic too! I just wanted something that would stop me from sticking my hair behind my ears all the time and I think this will do the trick. I am really rather pleased with it!

Andreas pinned the front section back with lots of volume at the crown, and then lightly tonged a few pieces  with the BaByliss Boutique Loose Waves.

And the last style (which was actually the first style but ..hey ho) was this beautiful tumbling wavy creation by Gile Robinson, also from the John Frieda Mayfair salon.

I am at my most comfortable with a head full of gorgeous curls so I really loved this!

Stay tuned for a full outfit post on this - but as a quick heads up, the jumper is from Gant, the skirt is River Island and the boots (which I have actually been dreaming about) are Russell and Bromley.
