If you follow me on twitter or instagram (@reallyree for both) it would have been hard not to notice that I have recently fallen head over heels in love with the new pair of Russell & Bromley boots I got at the London Fashion Week Apartment. As you can see, I literally cannot stop wearing them!!
I honestly have not had these kinds of feelings for footwear since I was a little girl. It is most incredible! I have so many pairs of shoes and boots but none of them, bar perhaps the Topshop Wedges that I completely over-wore last year, have captured my imagination like this. I literally have love feelings for them ,and they remind me of when I used to fall so in love with new shoes as a child that I wanted to sleep in them!! They have quite honestly made me happy, mad woman that I am!
Here's a closer look at the boots themselves and the outfits:
Russell & Bromley PARIS Luxury Gaucho Boot
Oh my god they are gorgeous!
Dress by Ganni at My Wardrobe and Russell & Bromley PARIS
This is such a simple dress that is completely made by the boots! The dress is by Ganni at mywardrobe.com and it is a real classic that you could wear anywhere. The half sovereign necklace is on permanent loan from my mum!
Jumper from Gant, Skirt River Island, Boots Russell & Bromley
This lemon and blue cotton jumper from Gant is my favourite piece of knitwear right now. I wore it with my ASOS denim shirt and River Island faux leather pleated skirt. The necklace is Nelly.com who are fab for accessories. This outfit was actually built around the boots! I had just had my hair done at the John Frieda salon in The Apartment.
Next a couple of outfits from my Clarins Paris trip. I wore the boots there and didn't take any other shoes with me because I couldn't bear to wear any other shoes! That is how bad the addiction is!!
Jumper Free People, Jeans Paige from Donna Ida, Boots Russell & Bromley
I am in love with the bright colour of this Free People jumper and these jeans were an uber bargain from Donna Ida denim who literally do THE BEST sale ever!
T-shirt Zara, Jeans J-Brand at Donna Ida and Russell & Bromley Boots
Love this simple v-neck tee with faux leather sleeves from Zara and the jeans are another steal from the Donna Ida sale - they are J Brand.
Basically, I am yet to find an outfit the Russell & Bromley boots don't go with. The most exciting part is that metallics are a key upcoming trend, and the fact that these have both silver and gold tones, means I will get so much wear out of them.
The boots were kindly given to me by Russell & Bromley at The Apartment but they retail for £295. It is pricey, but the quality is stunning and with the way I am wearing, the cost per wear is looking extremely good!!
