Rita Ora for Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish Review & Swatches

Saturday, 15th Feb 2014
I am so impressed with the Rita Ora Collection from Rimmel. There are 12 new 60 Seconds Nail Polish shades and 5 new Colour Rush Balm Shades. In this post I’ll be looking at the Rita Ora Nail Collection. I love the 60 Seconds formula and there really is a colour for everyone here.

Before I show you all the swatches of the 12 different Rita Ora nail colours, I just want to mention the packaging. It is really cute and Rimmel have really paid attention to the details:

Each bottle has a pop art cap with a Rita Ora stamp showing Rita wearing the same shade that’s in the bottle. I am really impressed with that.
The Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish formula, is in general, a 1 coat wonder although I always think that paler shades look better with 2. So I have swacthed all the pale shades with 2 coats, and all the dark shades with just 1, except for Rita Rouge, the beautiful dark red, which needed 2. I haven’t used top coat here but would normally.
Here we go!

Pillow Talk and Breakfast in Bed are my favourites as I don’t own many pastel colours in my collection. Looking forward to the launch of these in March!

Oh gosh, I didn’t think much to them when I first saw the bottles, but the swatches look lovely! I’m thinking there looks like there is quite a few Essie shade dupes in there too!

Hi, found your blog via one of Britishbeautyblogger’s youtube vids. Such an awesome blog, will definitely be trying out the nude colour (have been looking for a nice shade like this for ages), and can’t wait to wear the oragasm for summer (whenever that arrives :0))
