I absolutely love Color Tattoo products from Maybelline so I was really excited to try the latest addition to the line. There are ten shades of new eyeshadow and I have them all to show you. Check out my Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome swatches.
I was really attracted to these because I love the idea of a chrome finish and doe-foot application always makes everything so easy.

I love these and think the more neutral shades are absolutely great. The only problem is that they dry very, very quickly which makes blending quite a task. This is fine for the less intense shades but it means that the darker shades are a little hard to work with.
I think the best way with the darker shades is to do one eye at a time and then immediately use a cotton bud to gently blend out the edges. The up side of the dry-fast formula is that once it sets, it literally does not budge at all. I tested Beige Luster all over my lids (it’s the prettiest, easiest shade) and it lasted the whole day until I removed it. I used my new obsession, the brand new Sarah Chapman Skinesis Lash Boosting Eye Cleanse (review here) and it came off pretty swiftly.
The Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome shadows are available now HERE in the US for $7.94. I don’t have any UK details yet. I’ll update when I get them. If you want something quick and easy, I’d recommend going for the less intense shades.
