If the Kylie Lip Kits got your attention but the price tag and unreliable, costly international shipping put you off, then you are going to be very pleased about the brand new Barry M Lip Kits. There are three shade options in the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit line up and I have swatched and tested them out. Here’s the lowdown. Update: Buy It Here Now!
I just want to say early in the post, I am very impressed with these. They are fabulous.
Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit Features
- Each kit includes a lip duo of liner and liquid lip paint
- Super light texture
- Non drying formulation
- Ultra long wearing hold
- 3 shades to choose from
I was really keen to try these because I have had limited success with the Kylie Lip Kits. I bought quite a few shades and eventually got fed up with all the shipping costs. It ended up being a rather expensive experiment because along with the shipping, there were never delivered to my door and I had to pick them up after settling the unpaid customs fees. It isn’t a good service. Also, although the effect was brilliant, I found the synthetic vanilla scent extremely overwhelming and they were very drying on the lips.
The good news is that there is none of this to worry about with the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kits. They are very affordable, don’t dry the lips and will be easily available. Yay!
Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit Swatches
Right now there are three shades in the Lip Kit to choose from, although Barry M are also launching five additional shades in the Matte Me Up Liquid Lip Paints which I will show you as soon as I can.
Runway, Pose, Go To:
I didn’t wait for these swatches to dry properly because they are very long lasting and I had a lot of swatching to do!
The lip pencils are lovely – nice and firm yet glide on easily. Then the lip paints are super light and liquidy, cover the lips in one swipe and dry to matte very quickly. I love them. Also, they really make my lips look a lot fuller and you can top up without it going all peely and flaky.
Excellent!! The Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit is £6.99 which is excellent value in my opinion. They launch HERE on 8th February 2017.
