Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Colour Blend Foam Review
A little while ago I was sent the Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Colour Blend Foam in Medium Brown to review but because I wasn’t in need of a dye job at the time, I passed it on to my friend Vikki.
I actually reviewed it myself quite a while ago and got on well, so I thought it would be good to get a different perspective. Especially as you’ll see from the comments on that post that it’s a fairly controversial product!
So Vikki used it, took before and after photos and then let me know her thoughts.
Here is Vikki’s review…

Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Colour Blend Foam Review – Before Photo
“It took me a couple of goes to get to grips with the foam action, as at first I found it a bit  tricky to apply to roots and the bottle got a bit slippy, so I had trouble controlling it.
Once I got the hang of it though I found that the foam meant it wasn’t as drippy as normal hair dyes and I had none of the usual problems with staining around the hairline. The foam makes it easier to avoid applying too much product as you have to build it up gradually instead of squirting it all on at once.
The conditioner was lovely and smelled really nice. The end result was really very good. Before  my hair was considerably lighter at the ends from last summer and had faded colour in the middle from about 6 months ago and then my natural colour at the roots. It was also a bit frazzled at the ends from too much hair straightening.

Now it is evenly coloured from root to tip, really, really shiny and healthy looking. The texture is smooth and glossy and the colour is multi-tonal so it looks really natural. Overall really liked the product and the end results.”
And I’m back! Thanks Vik!
And I’ve obviously seen Vikki’s hair and can testify that it’s as glossy and healthy looking as the second photo suggests.
From everything I’ve seen about this product, I’m convinced that there are certain ‘knacks’ to getting the best from it.
As Vikki did have a few problems to start off I think it’s would be a good idea to watch this How To video to give you a really insightful guide on how to get the foam going as easily as possible…

You can pick it up for £6.99 from Boots and it’s is part of a three for two promotion online right now.

Have you tried the Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Colour Blend Foam yet? What’s your verdict?

I do like this product, but the smell is completely overpowering! It smelt like I had drenched my hair in ale and was a lot stronger than other home dyes I have used xxx
