I had a good play with lots of lovely makeup yesterday and although I had been trying out Estee Lauder’s New Invisible Fluid Makeup, I haven’t actually photographed it properly yet.
Estee Lauder’s New Invisible Fluid Makeup is quite an exciting one!! The claim is pretty thrilling – ‘See no makeup. Feel no makeup’ – I love the idea of super natural looking perfection.
This is me wearing the foundation that was matched for me by Estee Lauder’s fabbie makeup artist! My shade is 2NW1.
    Photobucket
    Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup
You have to shake it up to blend it with the metal ball that’s in the bottle. And when you dispense it, it has a kind of whipped texture.
I really love this foundation! It looks slightly yellow as it first goes on but then seems to magically adjust to your tone and vanish into your skin, leaving it looking pretty flawless. I also had a chat with makeup artist Caroline Barnes on Twitter about it, and it seems she’s a big fan too!
It lasted really well all day yesterday. My skin stayed looking fresh and softly matte. Lovely!!  £27 and I’d say it’s definitely worth getting your colour matched at a counter.

I used a tiny touch of Estee Lauder’s Double Wear concealer (02) under my eyes and around my nose, and I lightly set it with Clinique’s Invisible Blend powder shade 20 (mainly t-zone).
I popped one of my fave blushes from Borjois on, Rose D’Or 34 and the skin was all done!

For the eyes I used 2 of the MeMeMe Dew Pots. I really like these, but haven’t gotten around to blogging about them yet. They are gorgeous little pots of colour – ‘Rich Colour Eye Defining Cream’. I used  Woodland Truffle over the entire eye area and Autumn Smoulder 4 over the socket. You don’t need too much product. I apply them with a flat brush and blend out with a fluffy brush and it stays put very well.

It was back to Clinique for lashes and lips.
This was my first try of Clinique’s Lash Power long wearing formula and I was very impressed. This was the quickest coat and it defined and lengthened instantly. And it did not budge even a bit ALL…DAY…LONG….and yesterday was a long day! Very happy with it!
And then my first ever Clinique CHUBBY STICK!! Yay! I am finally in the club! This was 05 Chunky Cherry. Very pretty, applies so easily, feels good and lasts well. Perfect!
And that’s it! Have you tried any of these products yet? What makeup do you love on long days?

I love that Estee Lauder foundation, totally melts into your skin, not drying and lasts all day. It is officially my fave base now!

This is the makeup I wore to the fab MUA Cosmetics Love Hearts launch. That’s where I got those fabbie nails!

This time I used the Ready-To-Wear Luminous Foundation from FashionistA (stocked at Superdrug) in Shade 1 Nude. It provides an excellent coverage yet looks really natural and glowy. Super happy with that one! The coverage is so good I didn’t need any concealer. Bonus! I have product pics at the end of the post for you.
I used a touch of Daniel Sandler’s Watercolour Creme-Rouge Blusher in Hot Pink. It looks so vivid and strong in the palette but it gives the prettiest natural flush. Just gorgeous!
I set the base with FashionistA compact powder which is really fine and light. I love the packaging too. It has a fab 360 swivel mirror. Photo to follow.

The eyes are a mix of Burberry, Bourjois and Dior.
I used Burberry’s sheer eyeshadow in Almond No 06 over the whole lid. It’s a beautiful matte brown, so fine and easy to blend, and it’s really buidable. I am totally obsessed with Burberry’s presentation and packaging. See the photo at the end of the post – you will love!

I hi-lighted with Bourjois’ brand new Light Eyeshadow in Shade 03 (shimmery pink). These shadows are highly concentrated in reflective shimmers, and they are twice as shimmery as regular Bourjois little round pots.
I also used Bourjois’ new Kohl and Contour Shadow and Light Pencil in shade 11, Noir and Neige. I used the black along the upper lash line and the shimmery white in the inner corners. Great pencil!

I used my mascara of the moment Diorshow New Look. It’s amaze!
Lips are back to FashionistA again. This is the Plumping Lip Glaze in Coral Couture shade 4. It’s gorge! Not too tingly, smells yummy and is super pretty. Thumbs up!
And that I think is it! Have you tried any of these goodies?

This was my makeup look for a Saturday night. Cue the false lashes!! These ones are the Lauren Goodger from TOWIE ones – from Lauren’s Way. They are super glam, soft and comfortable.

ReallyRee – Face of the Day
For the base I used Boots 17’s BB cream (£6.99) which is a current fave, and I set it with a light dusting of the Clarins limited edition Passion Face Palette (£35).
I then used a brand new beauty discovery!! The Mai Couture blotting papers. And I have to say, I am now a big fan!
    Photobucket
    Mai Couture blotting papers
These little beauties are pretty amazing. I used the Blot & Bronze in Light-Medium to add a subtle bronzey glow whilst removing excess oil. I then went to the apples of my cheeks with Blush Papier in Prettyful. They are absolutely brilliant and so easy to use.And you can take them out with you to freshen up your makeup and remove any shine. You just tear out a sheet, apply and then throw away, so no mess and great for your handbag. The bronzing papers come in light/medium and cost £16.50 -100 sheets per booklet. The blush papers come in three colour shades: Prettyful, Sunset and Uptown, and cost £12. 50 sheets per booklet.

Visit http://www.maicouture.com/ for more info and pick them up from Harvey Nichols nationwide and BeautyWorksWest.

For my eyes I use the Clinique Lid Smoothie Anti-Oxidant 8 Hour Eye Colours in Seventh Heather and Currant Affair (both £17). They are amazing. The liner is a fave from GOSH at Superdrug –  GOSH Long Lasting Eye Liner Pen 008 Carbon Black, £5.99.

    Photobucket
    Mai Couture Social Gloss

I went to Mai Couture for the lips too – their brand new Social Gloss in French. It’s an absolutely beautiful pinky peachy shade with gorgeous gold pigments. I adore it! The bonus is it contains Volulip® to plump the lips and increase the appearance of lip volume by up to 15% with absolutely no sting.

It comes in 5 shades and costs £18 – Visit http://www.maicouture.com/ for more info and pick them up from Harvey Nichols nationwide and BeautyWorksWest.

I love discovering new makeup. What have you discovered recently? I want to know!!
