A Good Scrub. Palmer’s Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub.

Palmer’s Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub
I love a facial good scrub. I think it’s an essential part of your skincare routine and genuinely makes all your other products so much more effective.
I have used a million and one different exfoliants, and although many do the job, some are just not tough enough, while others are too tough and don’t look after your delicate skin’s other needs.
Having heard lots of good things about Palmer’s new facial range and being a fan of the body scrub already, I was keen to try out the Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub. I was expecting to be impressed.

And impressed I was. It has a lovely rich consistency, which feels super nourishing and has fine exfoliating granules and some larger bits too (both made of cocoa beans) which gently but thoroughly polishes your skin.
The formula contains milk proteins which are naturally rich in AHAs and further promote the skin’s exoliation. It also contains Cocoa and Shea Butters to moisturise, Vitamin E to protect against free radicals, and Aloe Vera and Evening Primrose to soothe and calm.
This scrub definitely ticks all the boxes and delivers what it promises. After using it, my skin was soft and smooth, but was not overly red and stressed, as it sometimes can be after exfoliating. It was really rather glowy. A major bonus is the price. It’s £5.95 for 150g, and seeing as you don’t need that much (about the size of a ten pence piece) it will last for ages! Fabbie!!
More good news – it is currently on special offer at Superdrug for £4.95! Thumbs up.

I prefer micro beads for exfoliating over the bigger beads.

I’m with Amy Smith on this one. Exfoliating using bigger beads are often times quite harsh to my delicate skin.

Thanks. I am indeed in search of a new scrub, and this looks great.
