Meet the team




Anne Marie Lodge, ‘Ree’ started her blog, in 2010. She had a passion for all things beauty and wanted to share it with as many people as possible and a blog seemed the ideal way of doing it. She was thrilled and surprised when she initially started to get her first few readers to the blog; now those few readers have grown in to half a million readers a month and Ree’s blog has become the biggest beauty blog in the UK and one of the most trafficked in the world. Ree called the site ReallyRee because she felt she wanted to ‘keep it real’ for her readers and always write about beauty in an honest and accessible way for ordinary people like her who just wanted to look their very best.

Philip Beeching

Philip Beeching worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy and Yellowhammer before going on to found Beechwood which he built in to a Top 20 UK ad agency alongside a group of marketing services companies which included beech2, one of the UK’s first digital agencies – he later sold the group to Chicago-based private equity group, GTCR. More recently he has been chairman of ad agency Libertine where he was a founding partner. He has joined as an investor and managing director to help develop the fast growing beauty blog. Digital Operations

Rebecca Varley

After graduating with a First in economics, Rebecca joined KPMG to train as an accountant but another more glamorous world was calling – the world of modelling. Rebecca grabbed the opportunity and didn’t look back. After a highly successful career as a model she moved to live in the sunshine of Australia for several years where she studied coding and founded a number of online businesses. She has now returned to the less sunny UK and joined Really Ree as Editor and Digital Operations Director, bringing a wealth of skills and insights in the world of fashion, beauty and online business.

  • The ReallyRee Collective

    The ReallyRee Collective is our group of hand picked influencers. We work with them in two ways:

    • Members of the Collective create engaging content and review products on which is amplified through their own social channels.
    • We also manage the Collective so brands can directly connect with a group of powerful influencers to review products and create branded content on their blogs and through their social channels.

    A London lifestyle blogger with a degree in Bioinformatics. Passionate about beauty and fashion. Official blogger for Cannes Fashion Festivals. Loves photography, writing, interviewing celebrities and spending time with her little son.

    A Beauty Magpie specialising in hoarding Blusher, accumulating Mascara and Skin Care justify-er. Future Peacock, Cat Mummy and Jurassic Park enthusiast.
