Mothers Day Gift Ideas On A Budget

Mothers day is fast approaching and the high street has some great items which would be perfect for your child to treat their mum with out of their pocket money. As mum to a six year old I know that anything my son has chosen and purchased himself is more precious than anything. All of these below are from Superdrug and are perfect Mother’s Day gift ideas on a budget.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas On A Budget

First up is a Bayliss and Harding Bath Set (£10 here). This is a great Mothers Day gift for those on a budget for two reasons.  Firstly, it’s a good looking gift with a lovely scent of pink prosecco and cassis, secondly, the one thing that mums never get and that they want the most is some time alone to relax; when you have young children trying to do any activity by yourself is difficult. Why not set the scene by running a lovely hot bath full of bubbles, pop a few scented candles in and keep the kids occupied so mum can wallow in blissful silence-heaven?

To go with the bath set Superdrug have a lovely range of hand creams, great for hard-working hands. I tried the Patisserie De Bain Lemon Bon- Bon hand cream (£3.99 here).  The smell of lemons is there but not in a synthetic or over powering way – this is a great handbag hero that would go nicely into a pampering gift set.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas On A Budget – Body Butter & Hand Cream

There’s also a body butter that I would recommend which is the Lotus Flower and Cherry Blossom( £3.99 here). This a lovely every day cream, it absorbs easily and smells great. I could still smell a subtle hint several hours after applying and my legs felt soft the next day too.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas On A Budget – Skincare

For skincare there are two items I would suggest. The first one is the B. Restored Day Cream (£10.99 here), an SPF 20 anti-ageing cream, clinically proven to show results in 4 weeks.  This is a luxuriously thick cream for pampering the skin on a daily basis. Secondly, I would suggest the Optimum PhytoFreeze Instant Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream (£12.99 here). This offers an instant skin lifting effect and used over a period of four weeks shows longer lasting results. These items are great for the more mature mums, 40s and upwards, who might not have considered an anti-ageing regime.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas On A Budget – GOSH Lumi Drops

Finally I would suggest the GOSH Lumi Drop blushers (£7.99 here). Nia Patten recently reviewed these (here), they are a liquid blusher that you blend in for a natural, slightly flushed look. Affordable and long lasting, they are great for adding a bit of colour and a natural glow to your complexion if you don’t have time daily for a full face of make up.

These are just a few ideas for Mothers Day if you’re looking for a lovely gift but are on a budget. Let me know of any more ideas you have below.
