MUA Nail Constellation

I have finally gotten around to trying out budget makeup brand MUA’s answer to the Ciate Caviar Manicure. This is the MUA Nail Constellation:
MUA Nail Constellation – Libra
Isn’t it pretty?! Now in terms of a comparison to Ciate (which is £18), I have heard quite a few people saying that these are really a one night wonder (and not really complaining for £3) but I have found that if you  use a good topcoat (I used Andrea Fulerton Gloss Up and quite a lot of it), you can really get a lot more out of it.
I applied this last Friday and it stayed on until I took it off last night. Not bad hey? Here’s another shot:

MUA Nail Constellation – Libra
I decided just to go for one accent nail because I was unsure about the staying power, but now that I know how to make it last, I’ll go for a full set next time.

All you do is paint your nails as normal (I used Bourjous 1 Seconde Gris Nightomic which is brand new) then apply the beads while they are still wet. Finish with a good layer of a good topcoat.

Very impressed indeed! You can pick up MUA Nail Constellation at Superdrug in a variety of colours for £3 each.

I’ve tried these Nail Constellations are really thought they were great for the price! My only issue was that they didn’t last well, but as a statement nail look for a night out/event they’re perfect x

Mine lasted for 4 days (well until I removed it) with a thick coat of Andrea Fulerton Gloss Up on top

Love the Bourjois that you’ve paired it with!

I love that lower end brands bring out dupes for things so quickly now. 🙂 x

Were they difficult to apply? That’s always put me off buying this, that I’d just make a terrible mess!!! But I suppose for £3 who can complain? It looks gorgeous!

Really easy – you just shake it on the the wet nails over a bowl to catch the excess
