If you have your ear to the ground then you are well aware that NIP+FAB launched makeup recently. With contour and highlight palettes, foundations and mixers, matte liquid lipsticks … there is something for everyone in the range.
I couldn’t wait to try some out, so waited patiently to see some reviews and swatches and they came in thick and fast, all but the Eyeshadow Palette Sculpted (which is what I really had my eye on).
So here you go gals (and guys!)… I took one for the team and purchased the palette. Find it here
It’s a neutral’s lover’s dream with 8 mattes (ranging from creams, transition shades and deep brown / purple smoky shades), 2 shimmers (Cleopatra and Ignite) and 2 shimmer-infused mattes (Duchess and In Vogue).
NIP+FAB Eyeshadow Palette Sculpted Swatches
Reminiscent of Becca’s Ombre Eyeshadow Palettes with a hint of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar – this is a great drugstore eyeshadow palette. It’s compact and great to take on the go and really does tick all the boxes for a neutral look.
The shadows are powdery with some kick-back but they are pigmented and blendable (don’t forget to tap off the excess). I found that some performed better than others, but I find that to be the case with any eyeshadow palette, drugstore or high-end. The shimmers don’t muck about and can be used as a one shadow look blended out into the crease or as a lid shade for the ultimate smoky eye – I am yet to try it with some fixing spray but think these two shades would come out super metallic. This palette can do it all and easily take you from day to night!
I am pretty chuffed with this palette and can’t wait to play around with it more, and here’s hoping that they extend the range – I would love to see a rosy toned edition à la Naked 3. You can find the Nip+Fab Eyeshadow Palette in Sculpted here
