Outfit and Face of the Day

Oooh shocker!! An outfit post and a makeup post in one!! There are even some nails thrown in!! You can check those out here. Truth is, I hardly had any makeup on so I didn’t think it really warranted a post all to itself.

The only new things are the cord jeans. Another bargain too – just £9.90 from Uniqlo. They still have loads in store – but I’d recommend buying them fairly tight as they do tend to grow as you wear them. I bought them in black too.

The vest top is French Connection – they tend to have a version of this pretty much every season. I love its subtle shimmer.
The boots are from Matalan last year, and were ridiculously cheap.

The jacket is Zara. I got it in a charity shop for a few quid a couple of years ago. I don’t often do charity shops but finds like this wish I did more.

Quick makeup run down:
Clarins Skin Illusion foundation shade 107
Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher in Rose D’Or
Avon Supershock Max Mascara
Now the question is, are you any good at charity shops? Any tips?

Those jeans are fab, I think you’ve mentioned them before. I don’t think I’ve ever shopped with Uniqlo but I’m going to have to take a look! As for the jacket! What a find!

Im very good at charity shopping! The real trick is to just keep looking and trying. Many people say to me they never find anything in those shops. However, when you ask them they say theyve looked once in their life! i used to think if you go to posher areas the clothes are better, and i still find this to be true. however, some charities now send clothes to one main warehouse and distribute across the country so its not always true. you can get better quality clothes for the same price as the cheaper brands, but obviously, you are limited to sizes, colours etc. ask if they have a delivery day so you know when new stock will arrive
