Mother’s Day is a time for you to show your Mum just how much she means to you and how grateful you are for all she does for you. My Mum passed away 8 years ago, and I don’t have children of my own (unless fur babies count – naughty fur babies at that), but that doesn’t mean that I can’t take advantage of the lovely gift sets that are available at the moment, and neither should you.
A brand that I love, Sanctuary Spa, have released their Sanctuary Spa With Love Gift Set (RRP £22.00) which is guaranteed to put a smile on your Mum’s face (or on your own if you just fancy treating yourself). After all, what woman doesn’t love a good old pamper session? If you have children, then I’m guessing the chance to lock yourself away in the bathroom and have some much needed Me time is something to be savoured.
The set comes housed in the most beautiful box and contains Sanctuary’s most loved body care minis, as well as some beautiful home fragrance products and it really is such a beautiful gift, at an amazing price.
The set contains two products from Sanctuary’s Home Fragrance range and they are lovely. I often treat myself to these whenever I see them in Boots, and they are the Signature Sanctuary Candle and the Diffuser. Both are in Sanctuary’s signature scent of sparkling notes of citrus, bergamot and jasmine, followed by a sensual combination of vanilla, patchouli and sandalwood. It’s such a clean and relaxing scent and they are ideal for turning your bathroom into your own little peaceful haven.
The White Lily and Damask Rose Body Wash is infused with penetrating moisture beads that burst on the skin as the gentle lather envelops the body. The pretty floral fragrance gently perfumes the skin.
To go with this, there’s also the matching Body Lotion that is infused with a blend of shea butter and rose extracts to leave your skin feeling beautifully soft, smooth and delicately scented.
Another beautiful product is the Velvety Hand Cream which is another favourite of mine. It is enriched with shea butter and sweet almond oil and is rich enough to restore moisture to tired, overworked hands, as well as being light enough to use all day as it absorbs quickly without leaving behind any residue.
The Luxury Bath Float has a sensuous oriental fragrance with Freesia flowers, moisturising Baobab and Vitamin E and the clouds of bubbles soften the skin beautifully.
I also love the Cleansing Burst Body Wash that is an aromatic cleanser infused with essential oils and bursting with moisturising capsules that cleanse the skin whilst leaving it feeling silky and gorgeous.
The final product in the set is one that I have used for years and it’s the Gentle Polish Body Scrub. It contains natural pumice particles and essential oils to remove dead skin and leaving you with velvety smooth and radiant looking skin.
So if you want your Mum (or yourself) to have some time to relax and let go then this set is ideal … if you can bear to part with it (I’d buy two, then you can keep one for yourself!).
