I went from having a million dirty brushes to having a million clean ones after I got hopelessly hooked on the actually amazing STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleaner. This thing is like crack for beauty junkies, I kid you not. Once I started I couldn’t stop until all my brushes were clean! Here’s what you need to know.
I have been aware of this piece of gadgetry for quite some time, but I don’t suppose I thought it would really work. If I had thought that, I’d have owned it by now! The thing is, and I am kicking myself now, it does totally work. It’s quite incredible.
Everything I saw about this reminded me of those infomercials where you see amazing things happening, get totally sucked in, you order, it arrives, it doesn’t do the thing quite as well as you hoped, and then you never use it again. Well, that’s not the case with the STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleaner because, like it promises, it cleans AND DRIES your brushes super fast. And it’s ridiculously easy to use.
STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleaner – How To Video
All you do is choose a collar that fits your brush (there are a range of sizes to choose from), then stick the brush in and attach it to the STYLPRO device. You pop a bit of brush cleaner in the plastic bowl, just a splash, and then dunk your brush in a few times before switching on the device.
You can hold the bowl at an angle to makeup the most of the cleaner, and you leave it spinning in the solution for about 10 seconds before raising the spinning brush above the liquid for about 10 seconds to dry. And you end up with a completely clean AND DRY brush. It is totally genius! Even the men in my life were impressed – I made them watch of course!
I coudn’t take my own pics because I just thought I’d have a quick go, and then I couldn’t stop and I’d cleaned every brush in sight before I knew it! I think it is particularly great for cleaning foundation brushes, and worth the money just for that because it makes them properly clean, dry and ready to use straight away.
You can buy the original STYLPRO Makeup Brush Cleaner HERE for £39.99 or the Rose Gold one, which I have, HERE for £49.99. I think either would make the most excellent Christmas present for anyone that has ever used a makeup brush!
