A Very Good Service Indeed!

Everyone is talking about customer service these days. We are even obsessed with watching television programmes about it, particularly most recently with Mary Portas: Secret Shopper.
And as a self confessed and sometimes unrepentant shopaholic, excellent customer service means an awful lot to me.

Shopping is my huge source of enjoyment and satisfaction, so I need, or  let’s say wish for, the whole experience to be absolutely perfect whether it is in store or on-line. There is nothing like a rude sales assistant, or having to chase up a late delivery, to take the shine off my lovely new purchase.

So I was thrilled to discover a fabulously relevant site called Very Good This little gem promises to “find great companies with great products and good customer service” and that just about ticks all the boxes for me.
It covers a variety of categories from shopping (my fave) to dining (another fave) and travel (you get the picture!). You can also make your own nominations to the site and share the love.

I recently made my own recommendation for brilliant customer service. Surprise surprise it was Harrods and most of you will know why! If you don’t, where have you been? Worry not, you can catch up here.

When I submitted my recommendation online, Very Good replied by email within a matter of minutes. Now that is the kind of service I like!

Whether you are a company or a customer, Very Good should definitely be a high priority destination on the web. Join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook.

The more we demand and recognise excellent customer service, the more we are likely to get it!

Tell me about your great customer service experiences.

Can’t wait to hear from you
