This is very exciting indeed! One of YSL’s most iconic products, Touche Eclat, has been transformed into a cushion foundation and I have it right here to show you! Check out the stunning YSL Touche Eclat Le Cushion Foundation which promises to be a game changer. I have all the details along with before and after photos.
UPDATE: JUST LAUNCHED HERE.
So this is the first cushion compact foundation from YSL and it’s different to all the various cushions I have tested out over the years. It’s comes in the most beautiful square compact and features a rather unique applicator that allows you to tailor the finished look on the skin.
YSL Touche Eclat Le Cushion Foundation Features
- Cushion holds the iconic light-infused Touche Eclat formula
- Collection of particles imbue golden radiance
- Liquid light radiant oils treat and hydrate the complexion
- Cutting edge micro-net delivery system for optimum dosage
- No product leakage or evaporation
- Unique sponge with two distinct sides for customised application
- 8 shades
So the first thing I want to show you is the sponge which is unlike any other I have seen. It is built with a breakthrough network of fibres with two sides that allow you to choose between different finishes on the complexion.
You use the smooth side to swipe product over the skin for a natural finish, and use the flocked side in a tapping motion for a more seamless, full coverage finish. Excellent!

Before & After Photos
I am a big fan of the YSL Touch Eclat foundation which was reformulated in 2016 to deliver enhanced coverage and a longer lasting finish.
I applied the foundation with the smooth side all over the face and then tapped on extra product using the flocked side over the t-zone and under the eyes where I need more coverage.
As expected, I absolutely love the finish on my skin and this is the perfect product to pop in your handbag for touch ups. New favourite!!
The YSL Touche Eclat Le Cushion Foundation is £40. You can find it HERE.
