I did a little squeal of excitement when I heard that Decleor had a micellar cleansing oil. I love Decleor (it’s a heritage brand for me) and I’m obsessed with oils. Throw in a bit of the micellar buzz and it’s almost too much for me. And apparently it’s been out for ages! How did I miss it? Here’s the low down on the very lovely Decleor Micellar Oil.
Before I start, I have to say, this stuff smells divine. If you enjoy the ritual of cleansing in all its glory, then you will really appreciate this. It’s practically heavenly.

Now…let me tell you, this feels absolutely gorgeous on the skin. It is so silky and smooth and lovely that it literally feels like it’s caressing my face. Really!
I put a couple of pumps into my hands, massage it right over my face and eyes whilst breathing in deeply, and then I use a warm, damp muslin to remove it all. You can add a splash of water to emulsify it, and you get a milky cleanse that you just rinse away. I’m addicted to my muslins so I prefer this method, especially when I have been wearing a lot of makeup.
It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and really nourished. There’s no tightness at all and my serums and oils go on beautifully afterwards. It’s such a lovely product to use. I have been doing one cleanse with this in the morning, and two at night.
When I tweeted about the Decleor Micellar Oil I had such a positive response. It seems it has been quite a hit since it launched and I can see why.
I am having a bit of Decleor moment right now in fact. At night, I have been using the Aromessence Neroli Oil followed by the Aromessence Neroli Night Balm, and then wake up to really soft, smooth and juicy skin. And the smell brings back such good memories from my first experimentations with luxury skincare.
Decleor Micellar Oil is £25 and available at Feel Unique.
