OK I am so excited! So excited in fact that I very nearly quoted the whole and extremely long name of this foundation for the title of this post – but then I realised it would take up 3 lines. I gave you a sneak peek of this last month when I spotted it on Instagram, but now I finally have a sample of the Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow Nourishing Fusion Makeup Bi-Phase Elixir SPF30 to you. And now you’ll understand why I shortened the name!

I love Armani, and Luminous Silk is one of my all time fave foundations, so when I heard about Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow I nearly combusted. I am obsessed with glow, and I found myself chatting to members of US beauty press on twitter who had already tried it and getting even more excited. I heard that the glow factor was off the scale! Oh my gosh – I was salivating.

I love this stuff. It literally melts into the skin invisibly, builds beautifully and leaves the skin with an extraordinary natural looking radiance.  It is so light, so comfortable and so glowy and I love the fact that it as much about skincare as it is about makeup. And it has SPF30. Yes!

Obviously I have only tried this once, so will update with any further findings. But right now, it’s love.

  1. Aahh so many new serum-elixir etc foundations dont know where to begin from! lol! Thank you for your post! i wanted to try Bobbi Brown s serum foundation( not so new now but anyway lol) now this! I dont even know if the two are comparable but i want to tryyy theeem! lol

  2. This sounds amazing and I’m always on the hunt for a fab one. I have an oily t-zone though, so would this work for me? X

  3. I’m looking at the shades to order this. What is your skin coloring? I’m more of a MAC NW10/NC15, YSL BR10, neutral undertone. Bobbi Brown Porcelain. Very dry/dehydrated, no acne/scarring.
This looks great as I love a luminous and dewy foundation. Matte tends to exacerbate some of my dry patches.
    Thanks for your review!

    1. my latest matches are warm ivory in Bobbi, B20 in YSL’s new formulation of Touche Eclat foundation, – I think this would probably work well for you. x

  4. Does it last all day? I saw many peeps talking about this product right now that it’s good for winter? I have dry skin but i live in a country which the weather is always hot. Will it be okay to use this?

    1. I don’t find it as long lasting as Luminous Silk. I tend to use it with a high coverage concealer and it gives a gorgeous glow x

  5. Hi I’m thinking of buying the 00 white shade to use as a mixing agent in all my founations that are too dark…have you tried that one and/or think the consistency will be good to use it this way? I love lightwright glowy foundations…
