Givenchy’s Summer collection, Les Saisons 2018 African Light has a very interesting new highlighting product that I made a complete beeline for. Check out the very beautiful and limited edition Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter in African Light Gold. I have lots of photos and swatches to share.

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter Features

I never want to love in a world without highlighter and the idea of brand new formulations makes me more excited than anything! If you like a highlighting product that adds soft glow without being too shiny, then you should check this out.

The texture of this highlighter is really special, and this fact that it has a very pleasant cooling effect makes it even more interesting.

So the first thing to note about this gorgeous thing is the design which bears ‘the ethnic inspiration of Givenchy’s latest fashion creations’. It’s beautiful, however, the sad thing is that it vanishes after you have used it a few times.

Givenchy Bouncy Highlighter Swatch – African Light Gold

This is really easy to use, and really easy to wear. It’s best applied with fingers and the texture melts and feels instantly cooling. It’s rather lovely. It blends easily into the skin, and then sets nicely for long lasting wear.

It has a smooth sheen with very fine shimmery particles that catch the light beautifully.

This is such a lovely product. If you are looking for a soft focus, natural looking highlighter that isn’t too shiny or intense, then this is perfect. I like that it has an almost cream to powder formulation which makes it nice and long lasting and it layers well on top of cream and powder products.

This photos is in artificial light so you can see it shine quite well, however, it is much more subtle in natural light. If you wanted more of a high shine finish then you could pop a powder highlight on top, but it’s wonderful on its own.
