Here’s my quick and easy guide to how to use the Babyliss Curl Secret.
This is such a clever tool but you really do need to know how to use it correctly. If you don’t you’ll end up with tangles and, worst case scenario, getting it stuck in your hair.
How To Use the BaByliss Curl Secret – The Steps
Follow these rules and you should have success!
Start with Clean Hair
If your hair is clean, it will be free from product, smoother and tangle-free. You get the best results from Curl Secret when your hair is like this.
Protect from Heat
Apply your heat protection spray when your hair is wet.
Make Sure Your Hair is Dry
For Curl Secret to work perfectly, your hair must be completely dry and tangle free. This applies to all heat styling and will ensure that your curls and waves last longer.
Spend a little time getting rid of any tangles.
Use Clean, Narrow Sections
This one is really down to you and your hair but it is best to use small sections, free from any straggly hair, to avoid overloading the Curl Secret and to ensure that your curl is perfectly formed.
Make sure that the open side is always facing towards your head.
Curl Secret does all the work for you. Once you have closed on your section of hair, it rolls it up and sets to work. There is no need to pull, so make sure there’s no tension in the hair.
Once Curl Secret has beeped, let if open fully before pulling it away from the hair to reveal the curl. This will stop you from straightening out your perfect curl.
Let it cool
As with all heat styling, make sure you let the hair cool down fully before you start to dress it out. This will give you a much longer lasting style.
