After having totally fallen for the Lancome Holiday 2014 palette it is now time to set my sights further afield to Spring! I had a peek at this little beauty when I visited Lancome HQ last month, and now here it is, in all its glory, the Lancome Spring 2015 My French Palette (£42).
How pretty does that look? This is the perfect travel palette – sleek, light and absolutely stuffed with beautifully wearable shades. It also comes with a double ended brush for application on the go. Thank goodness no sign of those terrible sponge applicators!
The inspiration for Lancôme’s limited edition French Innocence SS15 Make-up Collection is the Parisian streets in the first days of Spring with fresh flowers and magic in the air! I absolutely adore the illustration on the casing – it takes you right to Paris in springtime. I want to go!
Lancome Spring 2015 My French Palette Shades
This is a palette of really wearable shades with a little surprise at the end. It’s a beautiful little scale of soft pink shades that go from matte to iridescent, leading up to a little door that conceals some standout shades.
Behind the door are three intense shades with greens inspired by Paris’ Jardin des Tuileries and a deep Rivoli grey.
Lancome Spring 2015 My French Palette Swatches
The eyeshadows are super soft and pigmented and really easy to blend. I think the green shades will look amazing along the lash line, both top and bottom.
