I am currently wear testing the new Flex Foundation from Milk, and so I thought, in the meantime, I’d share with you the brand’s other new launch, the Milk Makeup Flex Highlighter. I have all the shades here with photos and swatches.
You know that I love a highlighter and I was super excited to try these. I have liked pretty much everything I’ve tried from Milk so far, so I had high hopes.
What is Milk Makeup Flex Highlighter?
- Silky pressed highlighter
- Formulated with hyaluronic acid-filled spheres to hydrate
- Combines a weightless pearlescent base with crushed gemstones
- Infused with blue lotus to moisturise the skin
- Features chamomile to help calm redness and soothe skin
- Resists creasing or caking thanks to elastic marshmallow root extract
- Available in four shades
Milk Makeup Flex Highlighter Swatches
The four shades are:
- Lit – champagne
- Iced – soft gold
- Blitzed – rose gold
- Glazed – bronze
Here are the swatches:
Lit, Iced, Blitzed, Bronze:
I love all the shades and the texture is absolutely beautiful. They really were a delight to swatch.
I have been wearing Lit and Iced, both of which are perfect for paler skin tones, and I love them. You can go for quite a soft glow if you really blend a light layer, or add another targeted layer for a much more intense highlight. You can basically shine as much as you like because you can build it up and sheer it out.
It’s the kind of glow that melts softly into the skin and doesn’t sink into lines or emphasise texture. It is a really elegant formula and creates a smooth and shiny finish without obvious glitter. It applies effortlessly and blends beautifully.
