Real Techniques newness from the Pixiwoo sisters, Sam & Nic Chapman, always gets me excited & this new launch is really cool. The Real Techniques Rebel Edge Brush Collection is a 3 brush range designed to make sculpting the face in a natural way an easy task. Here’s what you need to know.

I was excited about these brushes because I really love Sam and Nic’s take on contouring and highlighting. They are quite openly not massive fans of that overly contoured look that you see a lot these days. Instead they prefer to use tools and makeup to create beautiful natural definition that’s flattering and youthful. That’s truly is the kind of aesthetic I love and they do it so well.
Real Techniques Rebel Edge Brush Collection
The new Rebel Edge Brush Collection contains three brushes of varying sizes that have been designed, cut and angled to make the task of creating natural definition easy for all of us. And they are gorgeous!
There’s the Rebel Edge Large, the Rebel Edge Medium and the Rebel Edge Fine.
The Rebel Edge synthetic hair is super super soft and the ends are tinted pink to match the ferrules (and handles unusually for RT).
I’m told that during the development process they were called Mohawk and I think you’ll be able to see why.
So far I don’t have prices or a launch date for the Real Techniques Rebel Edge Brush Collection. There’s also a third, smaller brush, called Rebel Edge Fine (see middle brush in the photo below) of which there are no samples available just yet (that’s how new they are).
However, I do know that they should be landing in the UK in August or September 2018 and potentially sooner in the US. Exciting hey?
