I literally couldn’t resist trying a Jelly Mask! I love it when skincare is fun and different and Korean Skincare brand Skin 79 certainly deliver that. Here’s the low down on the affordable and effective Skin 79 Jeju Jelly Mask.
I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a jelly mask, but it’s all very simple and easy. Within each sachet is a sheet mask saturated with a jelly textured formula. There are four different varieties to choose from.
Skin 79 Jeju Jelly Mask – Canola Honey Features
I tried out the Canola Honey because it promised glow. I am always a sucker for glow!
- Gel saturated sheet mask
- Works to replenish moisture
- Delivers a cooling and soothing effect
- Hydrates and softens the skin
- Reveal a healthy, radiant complexion
- Jeju Canola Honey restores moisture and luminosity
- Antiseptic properties ensure skin feels clean, comfortable and protected
You simply apply the mask onto cleansed, toned skin and then leave it in place for about fifteen to twenty minutes. It feels lovely and cold and really refreshing – it is super calming and gentle on the skin and it caused no sensitivity at all. The sachet contains such a generous amount of the jelly essence; the mask itself is absolutely drenched in the gel and then there’s tonnes left in the sachet too. So much that I folded it over and popped it in the fridge to save it as a serum for another day.
I removed the mask and massaged in the excess product (which takes some doing because there’s loads!). It sinks really nicely with no stickiness and you can carry on with skincare as normal, although you can definitely skip a serum if you want to. It left my skin soft, plump with hydration and very luminous and healthy.
I was really impressed with the instant effect and I think there’s a few applications of the jelly still in the pack!
