So Estee Lauder is becoming younger and cooler by the second thanks to the classiest member of the Kardashian clan, Kendall Jenner, and the latest development in the brand’s evolution is the introduction of The Estee Edit. I have to say, I was obsessed at first glance and as the UK launch is a little while away yet, I made a rather large Sephora order to I could get to grips with the collection. Some may call it a haul!
So this is a pretty huge collection with 82 pieces across makeup and skincare. I had a good trawl through the products on Sephora and picked out what I thought were the interesting bits and pieces. It was pretty hard trying to edit down this ‘edit’ and I could easily have spent about a thousand dollars!
The Estee Edit Makeup Haul
So I thought I’d give you a little peek at what I got in a bit of a round up post and then I shall do the usual testing, trialling, swatching and photographing in further posts on the individual products to try and help you decide if you need any of it:
- The Edit Eyeshadow Palette
- Beam Team Hydrate + Glow
- Flash Illuminator in Spotlight
- Hi Lo Stylo Contour + Highlight
- Late Night Eraser Brightening Eye Balm with Pink Peony
- Lip Flip Shade Transformer in Yellow
- Mattified Lipstick in Killin’ It
- Metallishadow Crème + Powder in Scarlet Eclipse
- Pore Vanishing Stick
So far I am absolutely loving The Estee Edit packaging. The clean, pure white with the splashes of blue is really refreshing and it’s a beautiful blue for sure. I like that Estee Lauder have kept with the blue theme but just given it a fresher, younger hue.
I love the emphasis on glow within The Estee Edit collection and I am particularly keen to try Beam Team and the Flash Illuminator. And as I hate my enlarged pores the Pore Vanishing Stick is interesting. So far I have heard mixed reviews on the eyeshadow palette, so we will have to see about that!
I can see this will be a hit. It looks great and let’s be honest, it has the Kendall seal of approval which seems to be the equivalent of a flourish of a magic wand. It certainly has my attention anyway and I am still obsessed with Kendall’s lipstick shade from the core Estee Lauder collection. Now I have to work out where to start???!!!
