Alongside the launch of the brand foundation, Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting Foundation, there’s also the new Tom Ford Correcting Pen & Concealing Pen.
The Tom Ford Correcting Pen is a double ended pen that has an oval shaped pink/peach corrector on one end to neutralise and brighten under eye circles. On the other end is a fine-point yellow based concealer to cover redness, blemishes and broken capillaries. I don’t have a picture of the pen as the final packaging wasn’t ready yet, but here it is swatched.
Tom Ford Correcting Pen Swatches:
The textures are super creamy and blend beautifully. The corrector end is the perfect consistency for smoothing the under-eye area, whilst the concealer end is more matte. This makes it perfect for pin-point concealing and long-lasting coverage.
The Tom Ford Concealing Pen
So this pen has quite a different applicator for a concealing pen – I was expecting a brush but I got a sponge. I have actually seen this delivery method before (the Maybelline Eraser Eye) but not in a high end brand. It is a really brilliant application method – it smoothes the product on and then flawlessly buff it in.
The concealer is a beautifully creamy formula that includes the Tom Ford skincare Infusing Complex. It covers undereye imperfections and any redness or uneven skin tone. It’s available in 6 shades.
Both the Tom Ford Correcting Pen & Concealing Pen have been designed to perfectly complement the new foundation. All three makeup up the Flawless Complexion Collection.
The Tom Ford Correcting Pen & Concealing Pen will launch alongside the new foundation in August 2014.
