This is super exciting!! Tom Ford have a brand new fragrance joining the Private Blend collection for Summer 2018. I love Soleil Blanc, so I was literally chomping at the bit to get to know Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc. And guess what? It is gorgeous and a much more citrussy take on summer. Here’s everything you need to know!
So you probably know that I have a bit of a thing when it comes to Tom Ford fragrance. I have quite a large collection now (lucky me!) and the majority of them rank up there with my all time favourite scents. This new one has some very good company!!
Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc Notes
Tom Ford Eau De Soleil Blanc is a Cirtrus Floral Amber and promises to be a “refreshing illumination on the intoxicating Private Blend Soleil Blanc. Bright, crisp and drenched in sparkling citrus, gleaming with a vibrant twist on its floral amber warmth.” And it is delicious!! I love TF’s fragrances that use orange like Rive D’ambre and Mandarino Di Amalfi and this has orange bitter peel in the top notes.
- Top notes – orange bitter peel, vert de bergamot, petitgrain bigarade, caraway seed, pink peppercorn, cardamom, pistachio accord
- Heart noes – morning-picked buds of Moroccan orange flower, jasmine nectar, tuberose and ylang ylang from the Comores Islands
- Base notes – Coco de Mer accord, amber and vanilla
The fragrance starts off pretty zesty and bright, which is very uplifting, but I find that after about half an hour it has settled smoothly on the skin with a soft ambery warmth and gentle vanilla. It is lovely and I can still detect the tuberose which is a favourite note of mine. Very reminiscent of sun on the skin. It’s in the dry down that it’s most like the original which I absolutely love.
The packaging of Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc is just gorgeous! The frosted white chess piece style Private Blend bottle has beautiful gold accents. It looks amazing. The scent is comes in 50 ml and 100 ml sizes with the price starting at £82, available HERE now.
